All the Gods of Hell are human friendly, unless you piss them and Satan off, and then pay for it. About befriending the demons, I'd suggest you to find your guardian demon first. Then you can get to know him/her and by summoning the other demons (NOT out of fun, find a good reason for that too) you'll get to know them as well. They all will to help, are caring and wonderfull.
