So I have a few questions about the dedication ritual and the altar. So about a year and a half ago I looked into Satanism. It's actually an embarrassing story lol. Anyways, I did a lot of reading on it and all that stuff and I did the dedication ritual. However, when I did it, I didn't have an altar set up nor did I even have the proper tools. It was like 2 a.m. and I went out back, I wrote the prayer and signed it and did all that then I burned it. I actually used an exacto knife because my kitchen knives are terrible and not sharp enough. So I feel that I didn't do it properly. Should I redo it now that I actually have an athame and new candles and all the right stuff? Out of respect, is it ok to redo it? Also, I was digging around the shed and I came across a chalice. But it says that it's silver plate. Is it ok to use it for an altar piece? It says on the website to use stainless steel or silver, I believe. Same kind of thing for a burning bowl. It says Silver plate.

The dedication is meant to be performed once.

Use what you have for your alter. Satan and all of the Demons of Hell understand.

You don't need an alter or anything like that. I preformed the dedication ritual with a coffee mug, a small pocket knife, and a candle that was 1.99$ plus tax. There is no need AT ALL for props in Satanism, what matters is whats in your soul.
