If your mother won't budge about her beliefs, then just keep on with your power meditations, yoga and study. Ignore her. If she is truly threatened by the truth, I don't want to put you at risk at being kicked out, or your basic needs not met by her. Like I said, I don't know what kind of person she is.You do, just use your logic, subtlety and discretion.
Some christian and muslim parents are truly fanatical and dangerous if you threaten their delusions and illusions, and will therefore put *YOU* at risk.And if they have a social group/life that has to do with other christians, prayer groups, church choir, etc. their peers will influence them further.

Maybe hint to your mom that what she is doing is stupid superstition and won't help. And if she keeps that candle burning it might burn down your home. She shouldn't blame spirits on you, that's silly and shows her fear. Maybe mention that to her, that you have no connection with spirits and that her fear will only attract more spirits to her. Or she will only pray more and put up more items around the house.

I don't know about that catholic altar but if I was you, I would tell my mom that because I'm a SS, if she know's you are one, and I meditate my aura get's more brilliant white and only few spiritual people can achieve this and that attracts spirits to contact you and ask for your help when they are lost souls because they feel lonely.

Hello, so my mom recently started freaking out because shes been seeing a "spirit" around the apartment and she is blaming it on me and that kind of stuff. So she believes its a demon and she put a table on the living room with a white candle, white flowers, a cross and a sealed envelope. Any idea of what shes doing? Shes a catholic. And also the first day she made that, i didn't sleep well at all that night but i got progressively better. The candle is never turned off. So any one know about this?
