Beginning a square working on a negative degree

Anyone have any experience in this & whether or not it matters? I’ve been conscious of the moon and notably negative degrees when it comes to beginning workings in the past, like 15 of Leo. The sun is 21 degrees Taurus right now, and I was thinking of doing another sun square.
