befuddling dream

I keep having a strong reoccuring dream. iam not exactly sure what it means. i have been tying to divine its purpose for a while now. im open to suggestions! Well here goes, in my dream i am on a beach. iam walking on the shore. there are usually other people around on the beach. The people dont really stay the same in each dream. I dont always recognize them. And as iam walking the shore i realize that the waves start lapping and rising more violently each time. and then they swell into a huge tsunami that swallows up the sky. But the tsunami never falls upon me. It is seemingly held up in the air still in movement but never pressing its deadly weight uponme. so thats it.. any suggestions would be helpful .
