Why is Astaroth's sigil a pointed up pentagram?

I think it has to do with the alligning of the soul. Properly, the energy ( for example the kundalini energy, which floods the soul once it is awekened ) is vented through the crown chakra and leaves out through the top of our head. This is alsy symbolized by the upside down cross. Hence why it is point up. Pentagram is used in rituals, which can leave the earth drained with point up pentagram, but in general the pentagram is a symbol of the human soul- all five elements coming together to form a spirit.

Also it doesn't have to be pointed up. All you have to do is turn the sigil around and you have a point down pentagram.
