We are the future gods of our people. Start acting
We all go about our days, our duties, our chores and sometimes we can get entirely caught up in all of this to the point where things that actually mean a lot to us tend to get shadowed into the background of these priorities.

I just wanted to make a statement of appreciation for all of the JoS clergy of whom Satan himself had chosen to guide and aid us on this path in more ways than one. The efforts you guys make for us, the guidance, the help, the knowledge you share, the means to communication and information you hold up every single day to multiple points of exhaustion even, we really do care and love you guys for it.

I don't want this to be some kiss-ass thread, this was prompted of the most sincerity of my heart in acknowledgement and recognition that a vast majority of access we have to everything that helps hold us together is in large part not just because of Satan and the gods but because of our High Priests and High Priestesses who work on their behalf.

Above all Satan and the gods deserve most praise because without them the clergy wouldn't even be here, I will never praise the clergy more than I would praise and worship Satan, not by a universe-wide long shot and we shouldn't. But I did want to, as a fellow human and satanist, let it be known that we recognize your guys' efforts and the sacrifices and time you take in your lives for us and that we are appreciative of it.

HAIL SATAN!

I concur. When you think of the time and energy spent creating the JOS collective web presence, as well maintaining it and tending to all the members, it sounds so exhausting! I remember reading Maxine saying that we have a high attrition rate, and so imagine that extra emotional burden on them. Not just new members falling through the cracks, but even other clergy members leaving!

This entire website has basically everything needed for success. Imagine being Maxine or some of the other old timers who had to advance with little advice or guidance, and having to work in secret through all the ups and downs. Now, here I am, joining with pages upon pages of detailed meditation instructions, as well as the full RTR all ready to go for me to perform, pronunciations recorded and everything.

I know I'm not always active here but I do check in and read the important posts. Sometimes it seems the very thing I've been researching or looking at pops up in these forums. I am very grateful for the clergy for all that you do. I know you don't know me, none of us really can, for safety reasons of course. But I've always viewed you guys as family. From the Yahoo groups to here. I wasn't an active poster back then I was pretty young. But I have followed a lot of what you have all said, and it's been very helpful! it means a lot. I try to be helpful as well, every once in a while I'll post on things that I know about, trying to give advice or opinions. Honestly the way that you all help people has always inspired me I want to do the same someday. But I need to be more knowledgeable of more topics before I feel I can be of any real help. I care deeply about our community. It's the only place I've honestly felt like I fit in, and it's the only place where I feel like I truly have a family. And it's because of you the clergy, and the other helpful SS members Like you Ghost in the machine. Thank you all. Hail Satan!!
