It is funny you mention that, because around a month or so ago I asked a group of people what they thought about Satanists (they don't know I am one), and their reply was that Satanists were stupid or retarded.  One thing I have noticed with peoples stupidity though is you cannot really change them.  There is a big difference between stupidity and ignorance, and for the most part throughout the centuries, people have been literally "bred" for stupidity.  Now there is always hope, as like a seed of many in a field, one will be able to blossom with the right knowledge, as they are no longer ignorant.

I'm sure you've all heard "Do not cast your pearls before swine."  Well this is the same situation.  Its good to get the good word out, but to each their own I guess.  Each method is effective in its own way.  I like to take an approach of getting to know the person better, and use my intuition to guage whether they are really ready to learn beyond what they currently know.  Besides, the stupid people will easily be crushed by their stupidity.
