I've 'stumbled' upon this site several times over the years, but I suppose it took this last time to really click. I can personally attest to studying the Christian bible, the Koran, and some of the Jewish Kabalah and have found it a redundant, filthy mess- aspects of the truth are prevalent through retold/ regurgitated stories, but one has to read between the lines and make his own decisions. The Catholic church was indeed behind alot of this censorship and utter blasphemy, in an attempt to control the chaos that erupted after Rome fell and beyond. Until the Renaissance, the closest thing to art of any kind for the 'common man' was that of the church, an imposing, scary figure that controlled life to such an extent that human rights were basically at the mercy of whichever pope or bishop was in power. 'God,' by the Christain meaning, was unapproachable by the common man, and he had to have a priest who was educated in the psychobabble of the time speak for him, to confess his sins to; this modern nonsense about a so-called 'personal relationship' with the Christian god was nonexistant/ heresy to that time. Actually, pretty much everything that didn't involve: procreating for the sake of children that were expected to number in the upwards of tens, going to mass for eight hours of the day ant least every Sunday, the subjugation of women as uneducated fuck puppets, and the hatred of whatever minority group decided to show up in the area, was considered heresy, and death was often the result.
If you need a more modern example, the Taliban of Pakistan makes for a good one. The Pakistanis in the rural area where the Taliban are most prevailant are uneducated, illiterate for the most part, and rely on the Taliban for 'protection', permitting and even aiding these extremist murderers because of fear or simply not knowing any other way of life. Subjugation of women is normal, accepted there because the extremist morons have ingrained a fear into the Pakistanis over the years; a lack of knowledge means a lack of power to make your own decisions on what you as a person believe.
I could rant further, but I have already gotten sort of off track... The point is, becoming a Satanist for me means that I have dropped the mental curtain of illusion. I think for me, no one else. I take responsibility for what happens as a result of such decisions, but in this case, I don't have to be alone. In fact, I never have been, I have been guarded, inspired by those who are older than mankind's earliest civilizations. It just took me a little while to finally come to terms with what it exactly meant. HAIL SATAN, MAY HE RULE FOR AGES TO COME.

HAIL SATAN, MAY HE RULE FOR AGES TO COME.

Respectfully,
