Men and women living together as flatmates, not in a relationship, generally is not ideal. A home should be a home, and sharing one with people who are not your immediate family or partner can be awkward and feel transient.
But there are cases of a man renting out a room for very low price to a housekeeper who does the cooking and cleaning, is that what you mean? Or perhaps you want a flatmate but hate living with other men. Yes you can do this, but as I mentioned in the above paragraph it might not go well.
I've known of cases where both people worked a lot and different hours so they both had the place to themselves often enough to not be in each other's way, but if you get a girlfriend or she gets a boyfriend it will be awkward. And there's the chance you will sleep together and that will lead to an awkward situation.
So, it's up to you, but keep the above points in mind.
