as a homosexual who doesn't procreate, does race mixing still play a role? I do not want to race mix, but am just curious if race mixing matters if there is no purpose of procreation

Yes, you are uniting with someone when you have sex, exchanging energy. You don't need to procreate to engage in race mixing behavior.
