To make magickal working more effective, I'm thinking about lowering the defense of the target person. The energy-ripping method is great, but it is more complex. Can I just visualize the aura of the target person getting completely sucked out and becoming black?
I understand about ethics, and I made sure that the target really deserves this. Feel free to share your advice

Just try to have more power than him and take advantage of the occasions when he is sleeping, tired or has low energy levels, raise yours. Attack him in the most inherent ways to his life (you know he does something often, put danger in that thing with your magical work), now do not start this kind of works because Mars is retrograde, you could also exploit some Saturn retrograde or something like that.
