What are the basics that I must know and do in order to be able to communicate with demons? Also, when I have completed these basics, how will I communicate with them, and also how do I know that they are sending me messages and trying to tell me something?

I'm new and I don't know anything about how to meditate and how to make sure I'm meditating correctly. And when I did the commitment ritual today, I don't know, nothing happened. Is anything supposed to happen at all? I mean, what happens after the commitment ritual? And I'm worried if I do it...
