Are there any books on this, for lack of a better word, denomination of satanism? Because, sadly, there are many. And not necessarily, like, books ON it, but books that are relative and, erm, pre-approved?

I want to try Satanism, but I keep seeing over and over how you shouldn't "dabble." However, I'm not comfortable making a total commitment to something I'm not at least a little familiar with. How could/should I try and reconcile these two things?
