Im going through toz, some names make me laugh like " pazuzu" but i dont intend something bad i just laugh reading name it sounds funny, the first day i got here same happened with "beelzebub" but in same time i loved the name

In same time, i cant supress the laugh since i end up closing my mouth forcefully laughing inside , if i attempt supressing more it will become guilt/fear related

Is it okay? Or i should get rid of this habit?

Also is there a reason behind Demons having unique names ? Even in moroccan culture the name of Demons are so unique they make me laugh and i love them in same time

Laughing at the "absurdity of it" isn't healthy, it's understandable mind you in todays age, but not all laughter is created equally. As an example, and this was for a while, I couldn't stop laughing and smiling like a child over The High Priest Hooded Cobras profile picture, but this laughter was of just pure joy. You see I'm the sort that is very out of step with the modern age and to watch a man grow into himself, become like gold and earn himself a place to share with everyone an image of himself, like that, frankly, was "orgasmic" if you'll mind the vulgarity. It was like watching a general be given a statue, or a hero get a parade with flowers tossed on them. I couldn't stop thinking "You Deserve IT" and it brought me happiness. On the outside this seemed like an insult because one could not view inside my mind.

Yet Joy and Duty should go together and for every ounce of seriousness you have, you should have that properly balance against it, "absurdity." Like a butterfly is a beauty of a creature, but is also kinda like floating paper. It's wild when you think about it a floating piece of paper, and it's healthy to develop sides of yourself that seek the same goal in this way.

You can be a dutiful goal bound "serious" person yet be laughing at the same time, they are not mutually exclusive: it's just that we humans often are quite limited in our view of emotions due to so many having so little complexity to them for so long.

After all the "laughing poetic warrior" is something we should all strive to be: "having fun in battle, yet be deep in thought when taking a bath." The simple fact is you can be more than a single thing at the same time, and from the outside you might appear one way, yet be devastatingly another on the inside. On the whole emotional balance isn't easy and it's ok to have any fault so long as you honestly work towards mending it. Think literally nothing ill of yourself other than your sick and in need of healing. You don't yell at cancer victim saying it's all their fault and they should feel bad over it, you encourage them to feel better over their illness and get them to help fight it off however they can: in this the Gods are the same, and we must strive to be like them.

I will however leave you with a final question though, would you want someone laughing at your name? Even if it's a "strange/dumb/odd" sounding name, one mans crab is another mans tomato. ( This is in reference to when people thought of crab as gross and tomatoes as poisonous **does the more you know shooting star** :D ) Your feelings of loving it just might stem from being afraid of being punished and your laughter is a way to deal with the stress over it as you see something your told is Holy but can make no sense of. Not saying this IS your problem just offering that the situation might be complex and you should do what MasterJ192216 suggested and meditate on it.

In my view, this reaction could also be due to you just now meeting all of these concepts, Names, beings and the whole philosophy and worldview around what we are with a completely uninitiated perspective. You are very new to all of these matters, so it's understandable that the "rational" part of your mind, being previously unused to this information and operating on a relatively more materialistic paradigm (even if you were spiritually inclined before, here and now we take it up to 11), is "acting out" in this way.

I also remember that in my first 2-3 meditation sessions ever, I would giggle and laugh a little at the "outlandishness" of it all - not with any air of incredulousness or not taking it seriously, mind you, but everything was just at once so out of left field but also that which my soul had been yearning for and I had been frantically searching for years. If I'm not wrong, your laughing reaction could be along these same lines. I very quickly got used to everything and kicked this little "habit" before it even formed in any meaningful way. Perhaps, this situation is the same.

If you are not intending any disrespect, it should be fine and, at least in my experience, these things pass very quickly if you also do some practice - practice being spiritual practice, e.g. meditation, rituals, etc.

This is my view, and on one aspect of this matter. Other Siblings have posted on other potential aspects here. It is up to you to analyze your situation and see which parts of which suit you. At any rate, mutual respect, love, care and effort are key.

Best of luck, mate.

Thanks for your reply, Dont you think its healthy for me knowing that i came from a background that made me view them as monsters? Upon saying the name or thinking about it i laugh , it uplifts me and in the same time deprogram me from monster programming, i think the Gods take that into consideration, dont you think?
You

You seem to know a lot about paganism from your posts so unless you grew up in Islam why would you see the gods as monsters. I get it but one of them one day told me something (back when I could actually hear them that went away now I am stuck idk why) and for some reason I felt it was funny cause I didn't believe him in my subconscious or something I actually burst out laughing and he got very upset. He told me dont mock me and sent very angry energy at me. So I really dont think laughing at their names or making fun of them is ok. You shouldn't do it. I think it's because your sub conscience tells you the gods are bad or something. Don't let it control you. It also doesn't matter what people think around you. I am telling a true story so I know they would not take kindly to this.

You might find those names funny, but train your mind to avoid this, I don't think it's respectful, even if the Gods know us completely and know your true intentions. I doubt you would lack respect towards them, but refrain from doing this.

Greetings. Well, think it like this: would you like it if someone laughed in your face when they heard your name? I don't think so. The Gods are Higher Beings and they must be respected, so to answer your question it would be better to stop laughing. As long as you keep meditating and advancing this feeling and the previous programming will go away, but in the meantime keep what we told you here in mind.

If you laughed at another person because of their name they would be pissed to,so I know the gods names are different but be respectful always, anyway I'm sure some English names mean something, offensive or dirty words in other languages to just saying

Based on your experience how you discern when its the God talking or its just your mind? Also is it possible that the personal traits correlate with those of your GD

At the Time I actually heard the God but to be honest I seem to have lost that ability to hear anything. It was temporary. So I couldn't tell you any new things or anything like that. I suspect they would take this lighter than laughing at something they say but still wouldn't like it. You are supposed to be respectful to the God's at all times.
