Hello my Zevist Family, I am considering making some programming and or electronics posts soon, I wanted to inquire about what is most interesting and what members are drawn towards.

I like working with C++, Java, Common Lisp and Haskell. Alongside this I am considering modifying computer power supplies into test benches for lab use since I work with PLC modules often and electronics is interesting to me.

Any thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated, I want to be helpful to our Temple of Zeus Community.

It's a nice idea,

I suggest to use somewhat easy to launch.
I just have a look on Haskell and it seems the better - despite a bit complex for newbies.
C++ need to be compiled, Lisp is a bit strange for novices, Java require an infrastructure and is slow to start...

I love JavaScript so much, you can even create web projects for ToZ. For example, I was thinking of an offline auto-translation system in as many languages as possible by downloading the templates directly to the server hosting the site itself.

Unfortunately, I encountered some difficulties. The templates aren't good enough, and if they are, it's difficult to convert them into JavaScript. They could be done in PHP. However, the accuracy of the translations remains, and I opted for an auto-translation system in Python. If you can help me or come up with something better, I'd be very happy.

Greetings, this sounds like an interesting initiative. You can also help the ToZ by using your IT skills for various projects and websites.

Hello, I will have to keep in mind some ways I might be able to help ToZ in the future, thank you very much brother for the suggestion.

I kind of just slam out a post or few on the forums with interesting information because it's what I have time to do besides the usual outreach, but I'll have to see if a job change or a new buisness will enable me to better use my IT skills for various things, when this is more possible.

I'm not sure how I feel personally about an offline auto-translation system. These appear to be prone to mistakes and would need a lot of eyes to look it over.

Even in a "finished" state, this software and even the AI assisted tools for this are prone to many errors. This could stall progress made with translations considering how much effort and time would be just going back over everything generated from this tool, alongside making finalized translations.

Regardless, you should discuss this further to those involved in translations for the Temple of Zeus and see if this would be helpful, I personally am uncertain of it.

I think That would be Great.
Can you mention topics like how algorithms and computers work in general??
I wanna switch to Linux but I'm afraid since I don't know much about IT in general.
