I recently learned about Zevism and I feel it's the path I want to follow. However, I am very concerned about my family. I love them very much; they have always been very attentive to me and taught me good values, even encouraging me towards Christianity without any pressure, which I appreciate very much. They really are wonderful people. But I'm still afraid of what might happen to them, I don't have the ability or the courage to talk to them about it, let alone convert them, will Zeus take care of them for me?
The Gods see good people and will guide them in the afterlife. Your family is cared for as a zevist. You do not have to tell them you are a zevist or the path you're following, in fact it is better to keep it personal and private for most people. But they would be blessed to have a truly spiritual person in their family, and you can pass on what you learn to them.
rest assured that when you ask for family to be looked after that is what will happen. and perhaps in time as you grow on this path your positive example will get them curious and open them up to asking you about the path. for now believe in the gods and focus on your soul.
Don't worry yourself much because the Gods show understanding for the people who still lack the awareness and knowledge that a Zevist may have. I'm in similar position as you, since I have a widowed mother who is a fervent Catholic, a hardworking woman and probably the best parent to have, but I know that being open about my beliefs is ill-advised.
We live in times when the world is turned upside down and many people are victims of lies that they have been fed since childhood, but unlike the cruel and merciless god of the Bible, our true Gods will not fling you or them into some imaginary hellfire. Continue growing as a Zevist, read information on the forums and websites, and remember that silence is golden - the Gods do not want you to expose yourself to trouble.
As Meow! mentioned, shift your focus unto yourself and keep growing as a learner and an individual guided by the Gods.
