Do you mean that since you've been here, on JoS/ToZ, Beltane is considered the beginning of the year? And by “for personal reasons,” do you mean that High Priestess Maxine Dietrich chose it for her own personal reasons?

It's ok, that's not at all what I meant. What I wanted to say is that since I was a child this date has had special significance for me. That was way before the JoS. I had no intention to imply anything about Lady Maxine or the Joy of Satan.
