Probably dumb question but i see lots of stuff saying stuff like all democrats are satanic and all conservatives are Christian, can I still be Satanist if I'm conservative?

Rather new here and I've seen online that a good way to "get over" depression is to get into religion but I've always hated Christianity and i just wanted to know if there's a way that Satanism could make me "better" (as of now i am atheist)

Been addicted since 10 and I'm 15 now, I've tried quitting by trying anything the basic techniques and I've prayed to God (I'm atheist) maybe Satanism is the way to go? Not to into religions but wouldn't mind getting into Satanism just to quit, so anything I can do?
