LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday COVID-19 vaccines would not be made mandatory even though anti-vax campaigners were dissuading people from taking up the jabs.

‘Completely wrong’: Boris Johnson hits out at anti-vax campaigners spreading ‘mumbo jumbo’
Boris Johnson has launched an attack on anti-vaxxers spreading “mumbo jumbo” and spouting “complete nonsense” on social media – at a time when significant pressures are being faced by the NHS.

Contrasting the Covid vaccine rollout to some European countries using “coercion” to jab their populations, the prime minister also stressed the government would maintain its “voluntary approach” to inoculation.

...

Taking aim at anti-vaxxers, Mr Johnson went on: “I want to say this to the anti-vax campaigners, the people putting this out on social media - they are completely wrong.

“You haven’t heard me say that before, because I think its very important we have a voluntary approach in this country and we’re going to keep a voluntary approach.

At least the outcome of non-mandatory vaccines sounds good. But this is a classic straw man attack. Yes, some anti-vaxxers push nonsense about it giving you 5G and turning you into a robot. But many anti-vaccine arguments are logically true and/or verified by mainstream sources. For example:

  • mRNA vaccines are a brand-new technology, so the long-term side effects are not known. Medical science has a history of new things sometimes backfiring horribly. (Like the not-so-inactive polio vaccine, thalidomide, etc.)

  • The death rate is way less than 1% for young people, so for an individual's choice, that's practically a sure thing that you'll survive.

  • Some people die from complications of taking the vaccine.

  • You taking the vaccine does very little to protect others because all it takes is one exposure. Even if the vaccine provides 95% protection, that only means that 1 of 20 vaccinated people will catch it, and most people are exposed to way more than 20 people regularly.

I would not be surprised if many of the anti-vaxxers pushing the nonsense are actually pro-vaxxers who are trying to make the other side look bad.

The ultra-contagious Omicron variant is pushing cases to all-time highs and causing chaos as an exhausted world struggles to stem the spread. Two million new coronavirus cases were recorded on average across the world every day between 1 and 7 January, with figures doubling in 10 days, according to a tally by Agence France-Presse. New global case numbers have soared 270 per cent since Omicron was discovered in South Africa in late November. The stratospheric rise in cases is straining healthcare and essential services in many parts of the world, as the virus infects frontline workers, causing severe shortages in staff. is whatsapp hipaa compliant curogram.com/blog/is-whatsapp-hipaa-compliant
The UK surpassed the grim of 150,000 Covid deaths since the start of the pandemic in early 2020, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson recognising the “terrible toll” and urging people to get vaccinated. Some 313 deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test were reported in the UK on Saturday, taking the total number of fatalities on this measure to 150,057. Amid the Omicron surge, the British government may stop giving out free lateral flow tests under plans for living with Covid, a move which has been deemed as “utterly wrongheaded” by Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Shitgeon should quit. He's done more damage to Scotland than Boring Madson to England.

Because of the parties held at 10 Downing Street, while the Goyim were forced to be in mockdown, bojo might resign as PM. My guess is that "I think its very important we have a voluntary approach in this country and we’re going to keep a voluntary approach" is irrelevant and the typical playing-both-sides-against-the-middle; therefore, vaccination will become forced soon.

In a way, I think Boring is trying to delay it as much as possible. If we were under a majority left government, we would have been doomed much sooner especially as, unlike other countries, we do not have a written constitution. Americans can still appeal to things like the first amendment, the second amendment and other good things. Here, the situation is a somewhat trickier...

I think the UK is the only, or one of the few, countries which don't have a written constitution. Thousands in Vienna are/have been protesting against mandatory vaccination. I don't know what Austria's constitution is and says but I think they have one. For the point that you said "Americans can still appeal to things" - so the law-makers and law-upholders, agents, know that there are various rights, but if you do not mention it, then it can be ignored. "We know these are enshrined in the very constitution in black-and-white, but if you forget to mention it, then we'll be corrupt and pretend it doesn't exist, so that we can do you in". One wonders just who or what is con-troll-ing these governments and countries - or at least I would hope one would wonder... and wonder why, and wonder how we can stop it...

I do hope the British police remembers the oath they have sworn. https://foi.west-midlands.police.uk/police-officer-oath-298a-21/ If not, I hope who comes after the uprising removes each and everyone who betrayed their oaths. Oaths are important things, not a joke.

On the other hand, the military oath sucks and it sucks even more Navy and Marines do not have to swear anything. They should completely change to be more similar to the police oath...

I reckon Millennials and Zoomers are the least likely to uphold their oaths because of the new brainwashing customs of excessive flexibility of speech.
