Question #3816: Do Squares Influence Fixed Stars and/or Critical Degrees?

I have Mars in Sagittarius 3rd House at 25 degrees. Will it also increase the energy and influence of the star(s) ACULEUS (LESATH and ACUMEN) if I were to do a Mars Square?

If you add this to your affirmation, yes, planetary energies are powerful and can affect more than one area.

If you make an affirmation to do so, then yes. But it's best to make an affirmation targeting improvements to your natal mars if it is afflicted in any way or on bad degrees. If you just affirm it to empower your natal mars than the energy of your natal mars will be amplified along with all of the negative and positive traits of any fixed stars it may be conjunct with as this is part of its natal influence in your life.

Also when we perform squares we are invoking the energy of the chosen planet into our souls. This includes the Current position of the planet, what sign it is in and how its energy in that sign functions, any fixed stars it may be conjunct with, or any critical degrees it may be on at the time the square was started.

Try to avoid starting squares if the planet is conjunct with any bad stars or degrees. And if your natal planet is afflicted in any way then make an affirmation to improve the energies of that natal planet in the most positive and beneficial way for you instead of just general empowerment - which could unfortunately make certain natal issues with that planet manifest worst in your life if your not careful with the affirmation or handling of the energy.
