I have always been confused about the 'Moons Nodes' in astrology and what they mean and represent. I don't know how to find them unless the 'True Node' is the North node, am I correct? That means the south node will be on the exact opposite sign and degree.

I have a question regarding a birth chart that has these nodes on important angles. I see the true node is conjunct to the IC on the exact degree at 6 degrees Scorpio but is very slightly conjunct from the 3rd house side. I've read about the Nodes having to do with fate and I've also read about if the South node is conjunct with the MC then its something negative. What does it mean to have the nodes on these critical degrees in a birth chart?

I suggest researching about Rahu and Ketu. These are the North and South nodes of the Moon as understood by the Vedic system. I've studied both Western and Vedic approaches to the Moon's nodes and in my opinion, the Vedic system has a much deeper understanding of their energies and functions.
