I know this site in particular is not pro recreational drug use and claims it puts holes in your aura but I've heard about weed actually increasing dmt and being super revered by the ancient people we look up too here I have terrible reactions too it which is why that concerns me and I was just curious

Marijuana is of the enemy, it causes both spiritual and physical problems. honestly I never seen a person who uses marijuana regularly that doesn't feel like his brain is melting inside his head. It doesn't help you at all, it only destroys you.

In addition to the information already provided, including the extensive discussions about the physical effects of cannabis on the body and mind, in this forum, I'd like to add my thoughts on the spiritual aspect of its use.

When I was younger, I experimented with smoking cannabis and meditating while under its influence. I found that it induced a weird sense of relaxation which is not natural and is uncontrollable. It produces some sort of fake energy buzz which is not real because no energy had been generated. Moreover, I experienced a significant reduction in my ability to focus and maintain attention, as well as an impairment in my visualization and other cognitive abilities.

The notion that the ancients smoked weed is totally unfounded and lacks any historical or even empirical evidence.

How about instead of puffing your lungs with drugs you puff them with oxygen from breathing and energy from meditations, I bet these natural stuffs are much better.

In a way it is real, but it is 'cheating' in a sense one introduces something external into their system as a tool to bypass natural processes and input. Also, the effects are possible to control, but at that point of advancement one does not use these substances.

It is evident that people who use these mind altering substances are not in full control of their faculties and are also at whim of their fate. The claim that spiritual people used something like these as a tool is utterly ridiculous.

THC is lipophilic, it is very strongly trying to absorb into fat. Your brain is made mostly of fat, and all of your nerves are surrounded by fat. The THC enters inside of the brain and the nerves and becomes stuck there. This gives a very discusting and horrible feeling throughout the body as the nerves are all being touched and flooded with contamination, with the feelings of inputs that are not meant to be there. It is like a disgusting virus.

As I’m learning about recreational drugs I’m wondering what the deal is with substances like psychedelics, psilocybin, dmt, ayahuasca? Is it true that shamanic rituals with these natural substances are beneficial or are they in the same category as cannabis? Also is occasionally drinking alcohol a bad idea?
