I've been dedicated for almost a year, since i was 17 but i feel like I've made no progress. I try to stick to a routine but i can't seem to follow it properly and i keep trying again and again every few weeks but somehow failing each time.
I get back to my usual plan (AoP, void, chara spinning, breating excercise of choice and optionally whatever else is in the schedule or i feel like doing) and i do it for a few days or weeks and then I suddenly feel unmotivated and low on energy (I've fixed my sleeping and eating habits in the past year so i cant connect it to a lack of sleep) and my mind cant seem to get itself to work, its like its stuck and it takes incredible willpower to get myself to even move.

however, its not limited to just spiritual advancement, I've always been the one to leave everything for the very last moment and scheduling goes really difficult for me. whenever i set a goal i try to reach it as fast as i can and if i cannot get to it right away it affects the whole process negatively and i cant follow through

I'm perfectly aware, however, how and why thats a problem, you cannot undo the years of damage done to your soul and body within a month, but when it comes to trying to put that exact thought into action and allow myself to take time and stick to a routine, thats where i fumble. i dont see I've made much progress either and its starting to seem like im just incapable of doing this, but i KNOW theres no objective reason why i could not do anything i set myself to do, it just takes discipline, which i cant seem to obtain and its a bit upsetting because in my mind, lack of discipline only shows weakness

I'm just wondering if this is a common experience and if anyone had a similar story, how did you overcome it?
any words of encouragement or advice im willing to listen, I'm just hoping im not alone in this

Use earth energies like Nauthiz to create discipline, as well as the Gods' rituals of Gods like Azazel or Baalzebul. Work more on your lower chakras. Mars will be in Capricorn soon and you can start chanting its mantra and program it for consistent spiritual effort.

The moon is waning now and so starting a permanent working would not be advisable, however you can still raise the energy of Nauthiz and program it for immediate discipline.

You had referenced being low on energy, which is more of a fire problem, so I would also suggest you do yoga or the breath of fire. Doing hatha yoga would be a good way to increase your vitality and build up your body, which will also make it easier to stay calm and on task.

Despite the inconsistent progress, having a few days/ideally a week of consistent progress is enough training to implement the above solutions, which will smooth things out over time. These will have to be done for a while, but you should also get immediate benefits, too.

Keep in mind that not everything is like how we see it at first, and also that every action has a consequence.

Your meditations aren't nullified, your meditations have consequences, and they are working. About not feeling the results, it can be astrological, but essentially you will see the results, they are building up.

Yesterday I realized how I wasn't be able to hold a burned in image in front of me when I was a beginner, like in the flame meditation, and now I can effortlessly do this.

The reality is that you have to put effort in your meditation and be consistent with it to have better results.

You are not alone, my friend. It is my honor to listen to your problems. Activating your pineal gland requires a long-term exercise process. Maybe you will be disappointed if there is no reward for a long time, but persistence will definitely bring results. , after all, our bodies have degraded for thousands of years, and it will take time to return to the previous level, but please believe that spiritual power is real, I really feel it. You mentioned a lack of mental strength. I guess it's because your organs need nutrition? Maybe try eating something to replenish your energy. Of course, my speech may not be rigorous, please forgive me, I am a beginner. I wish you success

I second Panzerkampwagenl V's message. I think diet helps a lot in terms of feeling and connecting more to our aura and energies. A good meal and some purified water will help. The best in my view is distilled or microfiltered. One option for the latter is to use a Zerowater pitcher. I'd also recommend using Himalayan pink salt and/or Celtic sea salt.

Other than that, healthy food like wild salmon and a salad with some sweet potato wedges or something like that (if you eat meat). I'd suggest looking into 'blue zones' and what they eat to get an idea of healthy food proportions and whatnot.

A good free online program I'd suggest for tracking nutrition is Cronometer. You can make custom recipes and save them, plus it keeps track of all of your micronutrients which are very important to our health and longevity.

Finally, mindset is huge! I know it sounds cliché, but seriously it will be highly benefitial to do so overtime. You just have to believe (like the cat poster in 'Lego Movie') Believe....

Over time you will see and feel the results like never before if you keep at it, let go of that analytical (over-thinking) part of yourself and release any and all doubts. It's a bit like dying to me in a way. It about letting go and embracing that other side of yourself that's hidden away and suppressed (the right-brain side) due to multi-generational spirital and physical degredation. I know it's not easy and sometimes it's a little scary, but it gets better overtime.

Trust me, confidence goes a very long way on this path. I've had to learn that the hard way. You are still very young and you have such great opportunity ahead. Don't ever feel 'less than' because trust me, there are people who come here who climb out of the problems one could imagine and they somehow manage to become that person everyone wishes to be.

When you become that person you will still criticize yourself. This is a part of being human and it's something we constantly need to work on in ourselves.

Another thing, feeling energy helps a lot. A good practice is to get into a trance and move your hand slightly above your forearm and focus on the feeling. Allow that feeling to be known to your mind and NEVER second guess it, even if it's just a tiny incling of a feeling. Overtime it will get stronger little by little, trust me there.

One more thing. If you haven't already, try working on opening your chakras (starting with the third eye). When you fully open your third eye you will be far better at manipulating energy.

Finally, some advice I'm relearning myself is CONSISTENCY! Meditation has exactly what could be called a 'snowball effect', in which you need to keep that momemtum going. Once you do, all bets are off. It's like riding a bicycle. Getting started takes great effort and you may not move very far or fast, but through that effort and consistency we achieve momentum in which progress increases exponentially.
