It's difficult for me to accept things how they really are

How do I overcome this?

I'm not talking about what's going on In the world but in my mind and soul. I battle to meditate and enjoy it because It makes me see the things that is unpleasant but I cannot just see it I feel it aswell and I hate the feeling. I usually run away from that and my mind will just try and find ways to block it out and not face it.It really is annoying actually and I'm not getting a grip on myself to be who I am meant to be. I'm whipping the bull but I'm stuck with this question why is it so unpleasant? And why can I not overcome this? It will be great if meditation made me see wonderful realities but its not unfortunately thats why I usually stagnate.

What's worse is im dominant in the water element which makes me live in my head. I cannot even tell what's real or what's not sometimes I need others to confirm things with me so that I know I'm not in dream land or overthinking stuff.

Anyway im doing good in other areas of life and trying to do better in this one aswell..
 
Try to focus on more positive pleasant things. Whatever you see when it starts try to think of seeing and feeling some beautiful place or person. Try void. Also if you detach feelings of fear from it you will feel better.

I too had glimpses of some really absolutely horrible place but instead of fear I let it flow through me or tried. It was I believe an image of some slave place controlled by the reptilians. I absolutely hated what I felt off of it pure death and fear and it looked nightmarish but I tried to think of something more positive and change it to focusing on something positive. This actually went away. I didn't block it out though. I am not that much to the point of feeling things like you said yet though. You can switch to mainly seeing and feeling positive things by switching what you focus on.

You might want to check under the announcement column: How to control addictions, passions, animal drives. Honestly, sounds like what I'm going through..these are "animal drives". Scorpion is right about focusing on something else..that's the best part of being human we have an imagination, with out that we wouldn't be flying in the sky. But just remember, we all have at one time or another experienced the same thing as you! 666_ take pride in being awake.

The mind has been corrupted to dislike and fight against meditation. First off, meditation requires self-discipline, something quite rare nowadays. It also requires you to work to master your mind. Many people's minds are total chaos. So when you try to meditate, your mind will fight against you. Here is where you must be persevering until you overcome the force pushing you away from meditation.

HPS Maxine gave this daily affirmation sometime in the past, 'All obstacles preventing me from meditating consistently everyday are totally removed'. State it 9 or 18 times when your mind is clear. A trance is not necessary but it would make it more effective.

When you advance to a certain point you also will readily feel your soul, chakras, energy, and so on. At this point, your mind will readily accept the realities of meditation as it experiences them everyday.

To advance spiritually is to fight, you can't lose this fight.

Affirmations like this or others are good to be stated for example after a yoga session in corpse pose, being very relaxed and repeating the affirmation with intent. The more days this is done the better. Doing it for longer periods of time would actually constitute a working.

Especially if you’re heavy in the water element, that means you’re very impressionable. This, IMO, is where a lot of this fear comes from. You have an idealist way you want the world to be. This comes from much fantasy and living in your head. Then you become emotionally attached to these ideals. And when you get glimpses that the world actually isn’t the way you wish it was, this is hard to accept and so you block it off and you avoid it. I was also this same way for a very long time. Very impressionable and very sensitive.

In the long run, what comes of this is, delusional behavior. This could be mild or severe, but no matter what it leads to problems.

Our HP Hoodedcobra, made a post recently on ego. I hope you read it. In that post he shed a lot of light that will help you. IMO a lot of this fear can come from a lack of strength with your identity and who you are. This can happen with impressionable people. They can have trouble knowing themselves, when they’re around others because just as water changes shape to whatever vessel it’s in, it’s the same with water heavy people. They are influenced heavily be their environment. With meditations to strengthen your spirit and strengthen your self identify, you’ll become less impressionable. Less influenced by others that you don’t want to be influenced by. This will open you up to being able to accept realities you didn’t want to before and you’ll find the real world and your place in it is a lot more fulfilling than the fake world we build in our fantasies. And your realize you had nothing to fear from the beginning. It just takes time to see this but first you had to understand why the problem exists.

Also there is merit to some of our fantasies and dreams and you can make them a reality, but first you have to have a good picture of reality to begin with. Then you can manifest things more. But first off there’s no real reason to be afraid. There’s a lot of diversity in the world. Such is life. Everyone has their ways and that’s okay. For things that are bad and awful in the world? Well, we’re doing our part to stop all of that. So again, why be afraid?

A healthy mind is found in a healthy body, Strong spirituality comes with a healthy mind.

Some months ago i had quite a few mental struggles, i have had these for years, even after coming to father Satan it was a really slow and long process to get over these struggles. Of course the situation i was in was getting better and better under the guidance of my guardian, but it was a slow climb.

About 7 months ago i decided to join a sport, in this sport you are in a lot of contact with other people. So not only are you training your body, You also satisfy some social aspect of life. Now since a month or so i have been in close contact with a couple of people from this sport, I can safely call them friends right now.

Outside of this sport people tend to drift towards me, be it for friendship or more. I see woman that never wanted anything to do with me, that all of a sudden look at me with a glimmer in their eyes, They start to laugh at mundane things that i tell them. There are even woman that stepped towards me looking for something sexual, This all happened in the last month.

So why am i telling you this?
Even tough it is important to advance spiritually, It is just as important to advance physically and mentally. I decided to start doing a sport that i enjoy, this boosted my physical health, which in turn boosted my mental health. This made it so people that i was in contact with wanted to engage into a friendship with me, which boosted my confidence and again my mental health (Among other things). When you are healthy of mind, which is found in a healthy body, it is easier to advance spiritually.

The things that i missed in my life, was the physical activity that i have now, and the interaction with other people. As everyone here knows it is important to find the right balance, This can be extremely hard to find. But to find this balance you must work on the physical, mental and spiritual level.

So are you satisfied with you physical or mental health? Do you satisfy your needs like human interactions? Find this out and work on this, That is the best advice that i could give you. And of course you can use spiritual means to help you with this, but that is all it is. Spiritual practices are no substitute to any problem that you are facing.

We have been given many tools by the gods, so use them

What black dragon said about the mind being corrupted is very true I think and the affirmation is definitely something that I'm going to do everyday.
