Initiation: Then And Now, Opening The Mind

Thank you for this sermon. I can see how many people need it. While I have been working toward this and made a lot of progress over the years, I feel like I needed this sermon to keep cementing the notion into my mind. Your explanations are always so much better than what I could aspire to write. I hope some day I will be able to articulate thing as well as you do to help more people here.

If I may suggest a book to people to help them learn more about 'earth' as a mindset, I feel like "Chop Wood, Carry Water" is very helpful for that purpose.

I think a mental training session would be good for beginners. Like the 40-day meditation program.

I am writing a new section on the JoS meditation page.

Most people have issues that are due to improper mental training, not really spiritual training. It's not something from another planet or universe that causes that people can't focus for 1 minute, for example.

All in all, I can look at some aspects of myself, without sounding arrogant, as prodigal. Ultimately my pitfalls have stemmed from the fact that, if I look at my material life, I have created very little for myself. I've ignored most everything else for the sake of the spiritual. This was not exactly wisdom on my own part, as I'm fully aware. And that I can criticize as one of my faults. For how far I've come, I'm still aware of how much of a work in progress I still am. Though, in its own way, the humble state of my material existence serves as its own reminder and keeps any delusions at bay. Being born with inherited siddhis is a blessing, but, when one is young and first starting out, it can lead you to assuming you're more powerful than you are, and I experienced that myself, before I course corrected.

One first has to develop themselves before they can apply it to the external world. It is like a product that first has to be tested before being mass-created. So you shouldn't feel bad about a lack of material signs of your success. Your efforts would show within your soul, to those who could perceive it.

Maybe in a more stable world, it would make sense to spend more time elsewhere, but right now the Jew is busy creating all sorts of problems, so in some way, it can make sense to focus more internally. Of course, if you had success in other areas, then creating wealth should not be a problem for you otherwise. The basic steps should be relatively similar to addressing any other magical workings.

I was watching the first Metal Gear Solid game as a movie yesterday. At one part they mention how you need three keys to disable the Nuclear weapon. Snake only had one key, but that key was actually the three required keys.

One of my personal quotes is "Conciousness is key". I realized that, the three keys to conciousness are past, present, and future.

Overcoming the nuclear weapon of time, requires total conciousness, awareness, and movement towards the desired outcome.

Memories a moment ago aren't so different than memories 10 years ago. If we can retain this moment more clearly, in the next moment we can be further enlightened by the past, and it will be as though we are living two moments in one.

And by obtaining an awareness from the past, we can make more intelligent decisions to shape our future.

As well, by meditating on our path in the future, in a sense we will be "in the future". Thinking ahead, instead of the necessity to think within that moment.

That is why it is so important to free yourself from repressed emotions and hang-ups, for example repressed anger can cause a severe blockage in the base chakra and hips and prevent you from grounding.

Huh? Ground yourself in the present and the Now. Then reflect upon yourself in everything, mind, body, and soul. Then expand your view on things in life rather than limit yourself to a narrow view. After all of that, you can take action with passion, knowing what you know now, test, and open up to possibilities. This is what I get from that line. Of course, maybe I am just a fool that thinks I know enough to even understand just a bit of that with my thought process.

HP Cobra, this sermon was much needed and amazing, thank you. I love you. :D

What you mentioned about initiates cleaning with a brush reminded me of a saga of fantastic literature called "the wheel of time" there is a caste of people who use something called "the unique power" and go to a place called "the white tower "to train. At first they enter as novices and the first thing they do is cleaning work, helping in the kitchen and errands to "build character."

Con gli insegnamenti di HP Maxine sono riuscito a fare piu' soldi di questo Salem. Specialmente con Venere retrogrado.

Basically, exactly. We move from inwards to outwards.

Regardless, many people think they know everything without even starting on the basics, which is a major issue. All ancient "Scientists" and other thinkers, were very serious meditators first.

Ive seen this refenced in movies and anime as well.
In example, all the newbies have to do chores like wash clothes feed the pets sweep the floors etc (How Asta started started in the Black Bulls from the anime Black Clover).

Or the child being told to hang up his coat in 'the karate kid' - a movie starring an asian man with a job as .. cleaning or repairing on the building.. and a 10 y old black child that has only his mom and gets bullied or something.. or whatever the reason was.
It was an interesting movie just to see what happened more than the racial stuff.

Write your goal clearly down on a piece of paper. Hang it in your toilet.
Every time you go there you'll see the paper and be reminded of it.

The thing that Ive been struggling with is just taking on too much.

People tell me repeatedly to spread things out but my issue is that I have like 5 different things I want to have accomplished in a week and if I were to work on all 5 on em every day a little, my focus would be all over the place, I wouldn't be able to go in dept, Id constantly be going over my limits, have copious amounts of stress because of not reaching my daily goals.

Meditation is a different story. It has to be done but it is also a moment to relax, let go, reflect.
Creating chaos like the above for me is being improductive.
Yet I noticed that doing a working for multiple days is actually helping me to go and be more consistent, when it comes to meditating etc.
I think more because of the positive benefits and allowing myself to slow down to whats necessary for me to feel well in this world.

It just seems that I cannot keep up despite wanting to.

I don't know how things are these days, but it used to be back in the day around 60s that people who joined French Foreign Legion were put to clean toilets and such. A bit of that and then to the basic training. I got this from a former legionnaire soldiers book. He used to be my stepfathers friend. Quite an interesting fellow and he did not have it easy until maybe his older days. He passed that body around a decade ago.

I just noticed (and wanted to comment) how the rest of the Black Bulls in the anime I mentioned are a lot like what HP HC mentioned in this topic. They have a lot of power but shitty attitudes (mental issues) and stuff, no discipline. Don't put in work. Break more than actually help.

That is until Asta came along. A kid with nothing but an anti magic sword.

I think what you need to do is make priorities over your goals, break them down in increments [how do I get to the bigger goals I set through smaller steps?] and start working in this manner. Might also help to do the priority ones daily, while the least priority ones over the week. Organization helps tremendously here.

You can prioritise 2 or maximum 3 of those and approach them seriously. The rest can be approached more casually. Does that make sense to you?

I understand this path more and more with these sermons, but the thing I still struggle with is goals. What the goals we're working towards with void and trance? How do we know when we've reached them, and how do we better focus on achieving them? What lies in those two meditations that opens up this path further specifically? I understand sometimes we're vague on purpose, but where the checkpoints or milestones that we're working towards would be helpful to those who are still beginning to not be discouraged, and have a reasonable timeframe of how they'll advance.

Maybe I'm thinking of this too much like a game where one skill is clearly the beginning of opening up a lot of other skills, but if that is how this works in a way, knowing what we're meant to focus on, and when we know to move on to those other skills would be help us not rush ahead when someone thinks they've "figured it out" before they've really.

Thank you for the post. This was really inspiring for me. I quit my job and am heading to one that pays a little less but also less hours so I can dedicate more hours to meditation. I feel like this last year taught me a lot and do believe that everything happens for a reason. I am grateful to the gods to be able to still live reasonably and dedicate more time to this spiritual path.
Hail Satan!
Hail Eligos!
Hail the Gods of Hell!

Personally, in a journal I keep a list of shortcomings, obstacles that arise as I move forward and things to learn to master; this way I have a vision of my things to transform into positive habits or thoughts that I dig deep into to transform them into a favorable mindset.

The hard part was to look at myself and accept that there are things I was doing wrong, but I learned that only by accepting them can I work on them to become better and move forward.

Generally a student of Yoga goes through Initiaton then is conditioned in spiritual literature, and then proceeds to the actual spiritual practices when he's deemed worthy. But according to the Bhagvat Gita it is stated that once you reach a certain level and are unable to complete the liberation, you will be reborn and you will be allowed to skip all formal learning and start where you left off pretty quickly.

In this day and age with so much corruption in the literature, I believe all of us mediators from the Previous life are starting off and getting powers quickly so we continue our saved file from where we left off.

That is interesting that you have addressed this topic more directly. In the past, I used to take everything way too personally in regards to my own abilities and expectations. Now I can see that I was not fully considering the circumstances, and this is not an easy, nor quick path.

You mention earth as being the first element one should develop, which makes a lot of sense and should be obvious when the notion of daily meditation for years is called for. It is ironic because Capricorn energies within a normie may make them reject any occult matters, but for us, such energies can be very useful in obtaining stable progress.

The above is why I have become very fascinated with earth in general. It seems like such strength to be able to carry out monotonous tasks with a minimal negative impact on the dopamine system.

I have been using Nauthiz for instilling these qualities within me for some time now, and will only continue, as I can see the first-hand results. We can also see these qualities within the Sun in Capricorn, or Mars in Capricorn, which are both available to do as Squares soon. Given that Saturn itself cannot be done, I think these are suitable substitutes.

...

...

I have done like 40+ squares of Saturn. Needless to say, these might not be "pleasant" in a broad way, but they are very pleasant if you are ready to understand errors and other things, or want to give yourself a solid ground.

I don't regret doing any of these.

Regardless I would advise care because dealing with these energies requires persistence. But it's very rewarding. Nauthiz is very similar to this energy.

I got some more insight into this for people so I wanted to reply to this. The answer is Karma but the ancients really didn't have this problem as they were not fully resisting Saturn energy and avoiding doing what they were supposed to always trying to escape like people do today so they would not have written a "Warning" about this square or using the Saturn mantra. In fact it would have helped them exactly like they said.

The problem is the same it would be with any other planet including the greater Benific Jupiter and lesser Benific Venus. I heard a couple reports of things going bad with these squares as well over the years btw including one person asking how do they remove a venus square they did cause it caused problems then listed a bunch of stuff that went wrong. If you have a lot of Karma around some specific area of life then activating that energy in your life can cause unwanted events or problems in the case of Aquarius or Capricorn rising health problems. (I would be willing to bet 100 right now that the person who reported a serious health episode from doing a Saturn square where they feel they almost died has one of these two signs ascending or Saturn in 1st house) or problems based upon where Saturn is or what it rules. Almost everyone has a lot of bad Karma around Saturn. I would say only be careful totally with this and work on dealing with the Karmic issues around Saturn before thinking of doing the Square if it is in or rules something in your life where if it goes wrong this would be really bad or devastating for you. If so then stop and think.

Once you remove the negative Karma Saturn working won't cause anything bad it will actually be like the other workings the energy at the end won't be pleasant fully (I kind of like the energy of Saturn in Aquarius btw) but it will help this area of life. It does have rewards to master this energy like Cobra said.

Talk about Capricorn enjoy the 1st few degrees when the sun is here get a feeling for the energy this time of year actually is really cool. An almost celebratory vibe. The colors red and green are most often used for this holiday but it's similar to the colors of this energy. It is nice. If you tune in to that a little this holiday will feel even more fun.

It can be very detrimental if one is capable of manifesting their desires but unable to act upon it properly, know where it might lead them whether good or bad or even be aware it’s happened until after the fact.

Speaking from personal experience it was quiet the painful learning experience but luckily with the jos I have been able to improve myself with some workings. There is still more to go but with what I would be with out it I don’t want to think about to much. The blessing it is to have this knowledge and for free is invaluable.

No amount of higher magick can be worked unless the foundation of the mind is stabilized and made healthy.
How do you build a stable and healthy foundation for the mind?
By removing habits and persons that hold you back by their influence and establish solid control of the mind.

So, mainly freeing of the soul meditation and void meditation are the practices.

Whenever I think I understand myself, my mind surprises me again. In every change, I feel a sense of progression, but now I'm wondering if I'm really headed anywhere at all. Often I've simply gone full circle, ending up years later back where I started, feeling as though I made "progress" the entire way; and then I do it again. And it makes me feel ecstatic.

If I had even a clue of the bigger picture, how could I enjoy living like this to such an extent? Or could it be that my desire to see the bigger picture is the reason I wander around so much, thinking I might find it if I just explore every possibility?

I'm impulsive, reckless, whimsical; chaos incarnate, pretty much. Somehow I trudge onward despite the contradictions in my mind, but to where? I can't see my destination from here, but I often find myself enjoying the journey way too much to worry about that at all.

And I have to wonder, when I hear you saying all these mature, sensible things: am I really cut out to be a Satanist?
I'll have to find the answer to that myself.

Don't worry. For many of us, this is a familiar feeling. "Have I got somewhere"? "Am I making progress?" Don't worry about it, do your thing, go on your way, there's no point worrying about these things, they just slow you down. You need self-assertion and systematic self-awareness. Awareness and being aware of things is important and necessary.

You are not a mess, we are all different and good here. We are all good at different things. Stop beating yourself up, it's not worth it and I think it's unfounded. I think you are a good person. Enjoy the path you are on. I'm sure you've come a long way since you've been here.

Are you asking if you're ready for it? Of course, you wouldn't be here. Understand yourself and be aware of yourself, I write about such things in my posts. If you know yourself, you know your limitations, you know how to break them down! Don't worry, go your way and be happy! :D

If you compare your experience between invoking raw earth vs analyzing the Capricorn in you, this should make it clear what the problem is/was. When you invoked the earth, did you program it in any way? Otherwise, it probably temporarily altered you in all aspects, also done in excess and inharmoniously with the other elements. So your bad experience was simply a matter of a poor application ruining your perception of it.

Each of the elements is able to work simultaneously and harmoniously with one another, giving you the best of each energy type. However, they can also clash, but this is not the end state for someone trying to advance themselves. The point is: working with earth will not override your air unless you direct it to. Instead, it will complement and augment it.

-----------------------

What I said above also applies to concerns of it altering your personality. There is no reason why you cannot be serious on command, in one instance, and then joyous and carefree in another. People who see me off the forums might view me differently.

However you work with these energies, you should always program them. So if you do a Sun in Capricorn Square, for instance, you would not just do it and let it overpower your old self, instead, you would program it to make you more productive and enduring, in a positive and harmonious manner for you, for example. The same for the Nauthiz rune or whatever.

------------------------

Air has its own benefits and those who lack air are also missing out, such as in being able to analyze and adapt their routine, or in reflecting on their work (and making new connections). However, a lot of things are already known and are simply a matter of doing. The RTR's are not subject to change, for example, so air wouldn't be as useful here.

In my own experiences, I have been using Nauthiz for quite some time, and it has really helped me become more stable in my work or other efforts. At the same time, it has not changed my air qualities. Just the other day I was bugging my brother by incessantly talking to him about topics that I recently read about (thorium reactors and modifying the root systems in plants). So if that doesn't sound like still-present Gemini, I don't know what is.

Anyway, hope this helped clarify. Re-read what each energy type can do for you: Uruz, Nauthiz, Planets in Capricorn, etc and know that you can use them in a harmonious manner, not an overriding one.

Great!
I look forward to it.

Unfortunately, yes, many people have these problems. Which is why they can't develop.
