As we all know Christianity has taken over and corrupted allot of things from our old Pagan Faith.

Svetovid( some of the translations of his name, Holy Sight, the one who sees the world, or in some less popular translations, where Vid means knowledge, Holy Knowledge, or the one who knows the world) the Chief God of the West Slavic people, had his day taken away from him by the Ortodox church, where they insted of celebrating The God Svetovid, they celebrate a "christian martyr" by the name of saint vitus. In Serbia this day is mainly celebrated today because of the Kosovo battle in the 15th or 28th of June 1389.

Important to note here is that there are two dates for this Holy day, one beeing the 15th of June(by the Julian calendar) and the other beeing on the 28th of June(by the Gregorian calendar).

As my knowledge about the Slavic Pantheon is still at a beginner level i will insert here a copy of text.

Svetovit, Sventovit, Svantovit is the god of abundance and war, and the chief god of the Slavic tribe of the Rani, and later of all the Polabian Slavs. His organized cult was located on the island of Rügen, at Cape Arkona, where his main temple was also located. According to the descriptions of medieval chroniclers, the statue representing this god had four heads, a horn and a sword, and to the deity himself were dedicated a white horse, a saddle, a bit, a flag, and eagles. Once a year, after the harvest, a large festival was held in his honor. With the help of a horn and a horse belonging to the god, the priests carried out divinations, and at night the god himself rode a horse to fight his enemies. His name can be translated as "Strong Lord" or "Holy Lord". In the past it was often mistakenly believed that the cult of Svetovit originated from St. Vitus. Among scholars of Slavic mythology, Svetovit is often regarded as a Polabian hypostasis of Pan-Slavic god Perun. His cult collapsed in 1168.

As who this God is, my belief for a long time was, that it is Lord Janus, but now i think that it is Lord Beelzebul( Svetovid = Perun, Perun = Zeus, Zeus = Beelzebul).

As I said, since I am not much knowledgeable in the Slavic Pantheon, all inputs or corrections are more then welcome!

Hail Lord Beelzebul!
Hail Lord Janus!
