According to the stories, the Titan war lasted 10 years. Rhea, the wife of Kronos and mother of the gods, reached out to the Titans and asked Zeus and his brothers for support in their war against Kronos. Almost all the female Titans either supported or did not oppose. Prometheus, the creator of mankind, declared his neutrality and pursued his own strategy. Okeneos was not interested in what was happening. Helios and Selene, the Titans of the Sun and Moon, agreed to remain neutral as long as no harm came to them. The war was to be fought between Zeus and his brothers against Kronos and the other male Titans Koios, Krios, Hyperion and Iapetos and their general Atlas...

Gods and Titans fought for a long time. At first the Titans were stronger, but as time passed, the situation changed. One day Zeus gathered his brothers and proposed to attack Mount Othrys, where the palace of their father Kronus was located. According to Zeus' plan, they would be stationed on Mount Olympus, next to Mount Othrys, and attack suddenly. Thus, they would defeat the Titans under the lightning of Zeus and the stone rain of the Hekatonkheirs.

We must not forget the fact that all these beings we are talking about are immortal, so the losers of the war were to be thrown into Tartarus in chains, as had been practiced before. And so it happened.

After the attack of Zeus and his brothers, the Titans were defeated. Zeus' 4 Titan uncles Koios, Krios, Hyperion and Iapetos were chained and thrown into Tartarus. According to Greek mythology, when Uranus, the father of Kronos and god of the heavens, died, the presence of the Titans prevented the firmament from collapsing. When the Titans were thrown into Tartarus, General Atlas was placed on the highest mountain in the world like a pillar to prevent the firmament from collapsing. And that was his punishment...

What happened to Kronos is not entirely clear in mythology, some claim that he was thrown into Tartarus, others that he shared the fate of his father Uranus, that is, he was torn to pieces by his son Zeus. Whatever happened, what is certain is that the Age of the Titans came to an end.

After the war, Zeus declared himself master of the universe. The Titans who did not fight against the gods were allowed to remain free on earth. Although Zeus declared himself master of the universe, he suggested that his brothers Hades and Poseidon come together to make a fair decision about how the universe should be ruled. Zeus became God of the Sky, Poseidon God of the Ocean and Hades God of the Underworld. Together they would rule the world.

As for the other Gods, Zeus convinced them all to live together on Mount Olympus. So they took the name of the Gods of Olympus. The Hekatonkheirs built a perfect palace on Mount Olympus. In the main hall of this palace, 12 thrones were placed, each throne reserved for a brother. This council was called the Olympians. But Hades was not included in this council because he was the god of the underworld.

I am confused. I was watching a video yesterday about greek mythology, and I thought the creator had gotten some things wrong.. were we not taught that Poseidon AND Zeus were both Satan? And as far as the creation of mankind there seems to be more than one story.

Al Jilwah: Chapter IV

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Satan
