Game Development as a Career?

Hello. Recently I have been brushing up on my system administration skills and technical knowledge in hopes of landing a decent IT job and leaving the manufacturing industry as it's much to demanding on my less then optimal health.

I have been just really trying to see what I'd want to do with myself as I move forward in life, and I was curious about what Satanists here have to say about the Video Game industry as a career path, as a game developer.

I have played video games sparingly on and off for many years, and despite advancing a good amount over the years, I've always seen these as a very good form of artistic expression when this is moderate use and one lives a balanced existence. This view has never changed for me.

I've come to appreciate much of this as an art form over the years, despite how some people can have very strong opinions on this in general or see it as a wholly negative thing.

I want to also better clarify here, I am by no means one to sit there and play aimlessly and neglect other aspects of life.

I intensely study many academic subjects almost everyday and have for many years and try to push myself every single day in all aspects, even if I'm having a very hard day. Along with just general spiritual advancement, working, managing my family and trying to become a strong Satanist.

Any and all thoughts are welcome with this thread. I am very curious as to the thoughts and comments from other members.

I am glad you can actually manage everything despite life's difficulties. As for working as a game developer, pursue it if it fulfills you and can cover your financial needs. Your only concern should be what you will be implementing in those games. What if they tell you to make characters that look like blasphemous biblical depictions of Demons (red with horns and tails)? You could propose a different plan, or try to find a way around it, as straight up denying it wouldn't get you far, but doing it doubtlessly would be working against Father Satan. Other than that, I do not see any problem with game developing, so keep working and you'll get there. 💪

Many aspects of game development is pure art in fact. It's also more flexible if you don't have to go in a office everyday. I think it's worth a shot.

I am not sure, video games are just one of those addictions designed to waste our time and prevent us from achieving success.

In my opinion, you should not contribute to this problem, but develop something that is actually useful to humanity.

AI will eventually massively accelerate the development of games. This may even be possibly by the end of this year. That is something to consider, where it may be best to learn the proper fundamentals of game development, and then use this to create something unique. You can actually make a living doing things like this, however the market is about to become very saturated as the barrier to entry will lower with AI, so consider this carefully.

What jobs in your opinion are not going to be influenced too much by AI?

The problem here is I have a decent amount of understanding of a few skill sets, but I am very limited on time because of my job and responsibilities with my family. I am kind of just racing to figure out how I can haul myself, my children and close loved ones out of generational poverty, regardless of what career path I need to do this.

The plan though I have is to find a better job for the time being where I have more energy and time, then can direct this into deepening my knowledge of programming languages, learning to code and game development in general.

I've done some wealth workings over the years, but this manifested was a decent manufacturing job close to my home, which also unfortunately drains me of all my time and energy to pursue these other endeavors that would be a much better fit for me. I have taught myself to manage Linux and OpenBSD, along with virtual machines, and I plan to build a home server rack and begin doing all the server management myself when I have the money and the time so I can deeply learn.

Lastly I want to mention, I highly appreciate all the work you have been doing. You are an excellent developer and your work alongside High Priest Hooded Cobra never ceases to bring a smile to my face.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts on this, thank you all very much my satanic family. May Satan bring you all to great success and only the brightest of heights as beings. We will all reach the top my friends.

Maybe you need to consider trading if you want to haul yourself from poverty ?

I am also an SS who chose to follow the IT path as a profession, for life, combined with my trajectory as an SS. I think our goal would be to fight against the current system by creating social networks, technologies in general that help awaken humanity. the problem is the enemy influence and the barriers they cause with their playstore, censorship of the biggest application platforms that are still very Jewishly controlled. I want to prosper in this area by doing something great, but I don't know how far I can go without being "kiked" my biggest competitor is kikeberg and others like him, Bill Gates and all these people.

Lol... at this point I am not sure. It seems like almost everything that relates to computers will be automated to some extent. However, I am positive they will slap an AI onto some robot body, and then make it work warehouse jobs (for example). Then we will really be in trouble.

I will be honest, game development is more of a gamble, and not something you should attempt if you are trying to escape generational poverty. Look to your natal chart to find what exactly you are proficient in, and start there. When I was studying astrology earlier, I remember seeing the list of suggested professions for my chart. I was even thinking "But I have no interest in those types of jobs..." and then some time later, I am in one of those roles lol. So it is worth looking over your chart again and considering where all the planets fall. Look to your 10th house.

I would save up money over time at your current job, or from any other sources of income, and then plan on taking some risks with whatever interests you have. In this case, make sure you are stable in your position (no debts, no major expenses, lots of food, etc) before you do anything risky. Note the word risk here, because theres a chance it could fail, and you will have lost time and money, but you will have learned a lot.

Also thank you for your kind words. I do not always get the chance to make fixes and changes as fast as I would like. I am busy IRL pushing JoS and setting things up for everyone, so I have to balance everything.

I'm gonna be honest, the market is very saturated, everyone wants to do what they love as a job. Your portfolio will need to stand out if you are going to work for a company.
I would pursue it as a side project if I were you.

One more thing that I want to add. It doesn't matter if the market is saturated or not, what matters is whether you are really passionate about the thing that you're going to pursue or not. What will make you a valuable specialist in any industry is your experience. You will have to spend lots of time on studying and learning in order to become experienced. So, be it the game development or any other field, make sure that you are ready to devout most of your life to it.

Next thing that you can do to become rich after you have become a specialist in the field is expansion. Let's say you have become an experienced doctor and gained lots of money through it. Next step is to open your own clinic and hire people that would work for you.

I suggest game development as a way of promoting JoS. I've done some myself, and have plenty of ideas left in that department.
Being right in the middle of such a project is way more fun than any game can ever be playing.
The world of Spiritual Satanism is full of ideas for games with stunning visuals and music. Think of magick, runes, warfare, Gods, Godlike abilities etc..

The best project is not done yet, and I prefer working for myself. That way I have full control over the finished product, as opposed to working for a company - thus being restricted to what they want to produce, and the political correctness of the gaming industry.

My latest project here:

More of a 3D project than a game right now (made in a game engine though), but could eventually become expanded into something more later on.
Hopefully these kind of projects could attract a younger audience and be educational in some ways.
Games are not necessarily a waste of time. Especially when it's about creating them.
