I do not agree, I always wished the Romanian forum was coupled with the forum,

I think it's great that we have our own forum in Romanian. Asa far as I know that is one of the only 3 SS individuals forums existing, besides this forum and the Russian forum. Or I think there is a Turkish one as well. Uniting everything in one universal forum is just a huge job for Hooded Cobra to deal with. Nowadays there are tens of people constantly vising the place and many registered in the last weeks, which wouldn't have been the same if that forum was linked to the main JoS one.

The forums are always open if anyone wants to transfer here it is definitely not an issue on a technical side. This does not increase my workload as anyone who is moderating over there now would also do the same, just in this panel. Nothing changes.

The Italian and Spanish forums have been extremely succesful for being here. Italy specifically loves the JoS.

Also, did anyone get any errors like the ones of time past yet? Like 508, server unavailable, and other DDOS or browsing issues?

Yes, yesterday. I figured u had reached maximum hosting capacity. DDOS?

It happened very frequently lately due to both attacks and increased normal traffic which both were surging in at the same time. Now, that should all be resolved. If you get any other errors please do let me know.

Right now, these errors appear to be virtually non-existent. At the same time, everything loads fine in all browsers and is exactly as before without the errors.

Other errors that are persistent such as troll account creation etc are going to be focus now until they are stomped out completely, because I understand this caused some inconveniences before. Thankfully everyone has helped here for any that break through cracks, these go upwards to the hundreds posts per day.

I know, but it doesn't have to keep telling me it has saved it. It could do it quietly and not be distracting. Have you ever had your VCR or plug-in alarm clock or oven timer flashing 00:00:00 all the time? There is such thing as cut/copy and paste, so you can also keep the post on your clipboard and re-paste it as necessary. It's as bad as "Would you like to register now?" and "An update is available! Update now!" all the time.

We have,

• Disable BBCode
• Disable smilies
• Do not automatically parse URLs
• Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)
• Notify me when a reply is posted

but where is "hide" as opposed to disable, "annoying and unneeded draft-saved notification"? It's also not in the user control panel. Sometimes when it auto-saves, it interferes with moving the mouse cursor, as well, if you happen to be moving the mouse cursor at the same time, because it causes the scroll bar to increase and decrease, changing the size of the page and interfering with the ability to move the mouse cursor properly. I am all but certain no-one else agrees with me, or if they do they are too cowardly and afraid and too big a submissive bitch to say anything, to be honest.

" I like to get to the point, so in case anyone might say I'm being disrespectful, I haven't told any member of staff or the JoS itself or any God or Goddess to fuck off or anything. I saw a thing and mentioned it, for improvement. Things are going to continue regardless of whether we say "thanks!" or not, and if any HP/HPS "needs" the recognition and pat on the back, well... then I'll just leave that hanging there in case I do be accused of something. If the forum should be more defended against DDoS attacks, thereby having less downtime and interference with posting and losing posts, then the chances of users losing their posts are smaller; they were higher when we were being DDoSed all the time when we didn't have this feature. There is still the clipboard, and of course there is still a text document, such as M$ Notepad, to use. Better yet, do the post in Notepad/equivalent and save it to your computer/phone (I don't recommend using phones, though, but whatever; people won't listen to me), and when it's ready, copypasta it into the text field and preview and post it.

Can you add indenting? Now the "tab" button doesn't do anything because indents are not possible. I spent hours copying pages of Nietzsche's writing and making the format match how it is in the book, which has almost every sentence indented. Then when I copied it here, all the indents disappear and it looked like a giant blocks of text and very hard to read. So I had to find a way to copy and upload those pages of the PDF instead.

There was a beta update going [It was meant to be permanent] but due to specific issues that arose, we reverted.

Yes, it was nice. The only thing I missed was the topics from the clergy on front page. It’s nice to see most important topics as soon as you open the forum.


But, all in all, it looked good. Keep up the good work, and thank you.

Nearly every link I tried appears "Could not extract video info. Instance is likely blocked."

A lot of these new links don't work at all. I think that this change should be reverted asap because it's really inconvenient. At the very least add some kind of option at the bottom of the page where one writes a post, where you can choose to disable this automatic replacement.

It might be on mobile, yes. I didn't test on PC. None of the links worked for me so far, and because it's not possible to disable this I couldn't even properly share any videos.

I believe that changes like these are, to put it nicely, very counterproductive. No such features should ever be locked from all user-interaction. Even with things like these where it's for privacy protection, users should always have an option to disable these features. This allows both for proper freedom in posting, and also for natural troubleshooting in cases like this one.

On that same note, I assume that you are also the one who changed the way the site interacts with DropBox download links? Last I checked it was not possible anymore to embed direct download links where someone would only have to click the link (with "?dl=1" at the end) to start the download. This used to be a very convenient feature and now seems to be gone also. Now the link takes you to the DropBox site regardless, where you have to manually click "Download".
