Fiction has so many concepts of astral science

For example, in the Flash TV show, the Flash must "vibrate" at different frequencies to access alternate dimensions. And each dimension has its own frequency of vibration.

This is the same as in accessing higher or lower dimensions in the astral realm. Your soul needs to vibrate at different speeds to access them.

Also in the same TV show, dark matter is responsible for the creation of "metahumans" ie beings with supernatural power. In JoS its written that neutrino is the particles connected to supernatural phenomena and physics of the soul. And physicists have hypothesized that dark matter is made of neutrinos.

Also from Ben 10, time passes differently in the place known as Legerdomain. This place is known as The Realm of Magic is an interdimensional realm believed to be the place from which all magic in the universe flows ie the equivalent of the astral plane in this show.

Time moves faster in Legerdomain than it does on Earth: minutes on Earth can amount to days in Legerdomain.

This is basically the same experience of all those who have astral travelled. That time passes faster.

Although not completely the same, in principle they seem to be applying similar concepts.
