This Giles Udy guy who is supposedly an expert on the Soviet Union has a book called
Labour and the Gulag: Russia and the Seduction of the British Left which seems to be
hard to find for sale but I have managed to buy it via his site, (not read it yet) it's apparently about how
the UK Labour Party knew all about the brutality of the Soviet camps, yet kept quiet about it
pretending the system was the perfect set up! but in fact at the same time Britain was accepting boatloads of
timber and other goods produced from the slave labour in the Soviet real death camps.
re the video, obviously you get the normal small amount of bull you need to ignore, the Soviet Union is the main concern.
