It is something you read a lot from pseudo-awakened NPCs who have no occult knowledge and blindly repeat what they read online without putting any thought behind it.

They blame pride when we question dubious claims such as oneness, they blame ego when we cherish our individuality. Do you know what is one of the greatest cause of people humiliating themselves and others? They lack pride. Pride and self-awareness are one. When you are proud, you do not do humiliating things to yourself or others (verbally, sexually (scat, humiliation, child abuse), so on so forth. Because when you are proud of yourself, it means that you value yourself. And by being happy with yourself, you become happy with the people around you. Why do you think christcucks are so spiteful and hateful of everyone, including each other? Because they view pride as a sin. As a result, they lack self-awareness.

Pride makes you stand up to nonsense. Pride does not equate to arrogance either way. The most arrogant people, are those who lack pride. Because they are insecure about themselves.

There seems to be a tireless effort by the enemy to promote that the ego is evil, that pride is bad, that we are all ''one'' (as if to lure our souls into a ''whole'', like a fly trap). Notice how it is always the love and light new agers who keep parroting ''we are all one'' or ''dissolve your ego''. Like mindless drones. Granted, none of these people ever did any serious spiritual search, they have read maybe a couple of ugly purple coloured new age books and some near death experiences (who are of the enemy, who lure souls into their light) and think they now hold the secrets of the universe.

Free will and individuality are one and the same. And pride, is what makes you realize that. Without pride, the enemy will make you believe in anything.

In the xian view of things; being proud of any "wordly" accomplishment is sinful, since it's "wordly" and "material".
That pride and love is only giving more credit to "wordly living" and "material life".

The life that actually is the foundation for all meaningfulness, is seen by them as something to escape and be "saved" from, and thus not find any pride in, or love for.

Loving the most loving "Jesus" who died for our "sins" of being proud and living/fighting for This life is the thing for them, but not for us.

We love life and strive for pride. Feeling proud of oneself is important, and must be earned through effort.
Without pride there is not much motivation for any effort leading up to it. Being a drone on drugs will not lead to pride, and neither being a drone for "Jesus".

I think that everybody who seek true enlightenment will eventually realize that. Pride is a hard requirement to stand up to the lies that we have been fed, the best antidote against religious trauma is pride. The pride to stand against the fear of hell, the pride to face Jesus and admit he is nothing but a fictional curse. You can tell when people have fallen for their lies when they seek to destroy their ego and promote oneness.

arrogance is pointless aspiration if directed towards our own, even can be harmful in some cases, it has its place like everything and not to be used too much, for example when you are just about becoming swindled by enemy, and aware of it, this is the time where arrogance can be used to avoid damage for yourself and your own.

other abilities is just over used positive things, which pushed too much becomes unhealthy and devastating, same as with arrogance.

so yes it is lower things which are very low and can suck weak people into it.

Arrogance is the polar opposite of humility. Both are bad, one leads to be an asshole the other one leads to be a tool. Stand right in the middle, neither humble nor arrogant.

Ego is yourself, your personality, your will, your soul, your life.

Arrogance is something completely different. Arrogance is from ignorance or from weakness. Either by there being weaknesses or inferiority that is attempted to be covered up by fake arrogance. Or by full ignorance of not knowing what problems may be existing. But it is a symptom of weakness. In nearly all cases, true arrogance comes from a complete lack of actual self confidence, so the person tries to replace the confidence with arrogance. Which fails because they are not the same.

Anybody who would subvert and ignore his own will, his own soul, his own thoughts, his own morals, his own judgements, his own personality. Might as well not even be alive, because there is no true life or consciousness left within this person. This is the death of ego, the death of the soul and the self. In every way, this is the ego that has been suppressed.

Actual confidence is built by growing the real ego. Growing the soul, growing the self, growing the life force, growing the will, growing the personality, growing the strengths and abilities that all people are meant to have. So that you may be an actual functioning human, and not a worthless soulless mannequin.

But cant one be in pride towards for example family? For example “I am taking pride in my brothers and sisters” this pride would be directed to others who have deserve it. Another example one is proud of his son?

And also being arrogant towards oneself In my opinion is also possible, when we use it towards others but, in result he/she gets burnt, like in vain blindness, towards others one can definetly loose something for themselves, so for me this looks like being arrogant towards oneself also.
