What does this mean? Is it a typo?

The thing with the Moon is that it works on an emotional level(Water and Fire) before a material one (Earth and Air). The most iffy material signs are Virgo and Gemini, and the Moon hates iffy-ness. Describing it's energy in a way, I'd say like Mars it would rather just get to the point. The Moon is exalted and works well in the Earth sign of Taurus because Taurus IS it's point, security, sensuality and so on which is what the Moon wants. We can compare the Moon through this stuff to Venus, and this relates to love workings.

Venus is in it's fall in the sign of Virgo, and Jupiter is in detriment too. Virgo isn't necessarily a "celibate" sign, but as a sign that is relevant to things like work and detailed organisation, it takes that characterisation when dealing with love and recreation, so it's sort of strange when it has to do those things that aren't synonymous to it. Love is supposed to be dreamy, easy going and free, you aren't supposed to constantly try to define it and control it all the time (which is also why Scorpio is the Fall of Venus and detriment of the Moon- controlling). With the Moon it relates to this fundamental preference for security, dreaminess and freedom, because the Moon works on a similar level as Venus in it's importance to human companionship and sensual engagements; this also definitely supports the notion that the transiting Moon in Virgo doesn't benefit Venusian focused workings of love and so on.

You would think that the real "celibate" Moon sign for a love working would be it's detriment of Capricorn, but Capricorn actually has more strength in any working, it being a Cardinal sign. On that same line, you could call the other mutable signs of Sagittarius, Gemini and Pisces celibate signs as well. Cancer and Libra are definitely more love-oriented than Pisces and Gemini, which deal with all sorts of mental intricacy and are really confusing and yeah- iffy. And Aries and Capricorn are also more love-oriented too on the basis they rule the individual, assertion and things like authority, whereas Sagittarius and Virgo rule stuff like religious belief, and then every single detail which our unconscious uses to manifest these underlying beliefs unto our environment, as well as all the minor details which spring from a new relationship but they don't rule the actual charge of the relationship itself.

The Moon rules the 6th chakra and Virgo is the 6th sign as well, so I think in terms of soul dynamics there's more to both of them. I would say that when we think of the number 6 as of the enemy, it's not necessarily just related to Saturn but also to Virgo the 6th sign which is Mercury. Grey death energy comes under the sphere of Virgo too, which rules grey. Saturn is the main colour base which Virgo pulls it's gray from. The number 6 is a number of Earth too because it relates to lower manifestation of the physical plane which follows the pattern of six (like with the snowflakes and so on all following the same patterns as the universe, and also 666 as well)

The Star of Vishnu symbol the jews stole within the image above is the enemy hijacking the number of 6, and they do this along the line of Virgo which is iffy and deceptive like its opposite sign Pisces ruling deception. That's how the enemy waged their war, through the mutable inconsistencies. Unlike Pisces though, Virgo actually has a material credence and meaning, it's not just dreams and so on. Virgo is the offshoot and patterns of Saturn, but the number of Capricorn is 10 not 6. The enemy when they began, didn't have a strong 10, so they had to use 6 to get there. Now ever since the JoS we've been using our 666 to fucking obliterate them and their bullshit 10 XD.

But anyway, if you look at the Feminine Virgo and Scorpio, which are the enemy signs of Venus (and Scorpio is to the Moon too), they both have for the most part, the same "M" glyphs. That is no coincidence. Virgo is work and detail, Scorpio is control and security over assets. These are the fundamentals going into any relationship based on control for better (like an employee and a boss) or worse (abusive relationships). This crossover between the two signs in their unhealthiness for Venus and the Moon will lead you to the answer of why the Moon is celibate in the sign of Virgo, on top of the obvious "Virgo=Virgin" dead end lol. For Scorpio being the actual fall sign to the Moon, I would say that Scorpio can be used for possessive relationships purely based on either assets and work, or lust and fetishes. Virgo is much the same, but less of the lust and fetishes and more the work relationships.

If you are doing a working to change something that relates to absolutely everything material from the ground up, that is what Virgo rules and the Moon within it is probably beneficial for workings pertaining to advanced stages of soul empowering. Scorpio is the force of transformation whereas Virgo is what is being transformed so you sort of need both. Transformation also comes under the same Plutonian range as death, which is why these two signs aren't so lovey-dovey, comfortable and Venus like.
