A little about chaos and order

I felt compelled to write a brief post about this.

The universe is originally described as the water of chaos in many religions. From chaos, creation happens when things started to organise themselves and give shape to structures that support life. Everything to exist needs to be organised in specific patterns, otherwise it cannot support itself and dissipates overtime.

This is to true of everything. A physical body is a prime example of this. If you go a bit deeper, you notice it's made of various systems that work together in harmony. If you go even deeper, this systems are made of various organise that, just like system, work together in harmony to support this system. On an even deeper level, you have that tissues that make up these organs, again working together in harmony. Tissues are made by specialised cells and so on.

Even objects have their own structure that grants them a form. All the way to molecules, atoms and beyond. Everything is organised in a specific way.

From this, you may understand that structure is what allows things to manifest, to come to life.

When this structure is damage, things start to collapse, returning to the original chaos. This process is called destruction.

In the past, on this forum we have already established that destruction is easier than creation. This can be easily seen when you aim a wreaking ball at a building or some retarded arsehole burns a forest down. A building takes weeks and sometimes even months to reach a completion stage, as structure are gradually built until the final shape is achieved. Similarly, forests take years, sometimes decades and longer to grow into their magnificence. From the spiritual side, this is energy organised into patterns and stacked/accumulated over time, expanding.

A wreaking ball takes only a few hours to destroy what has taken a long time to build. Similar, a fire takes a few hours or even a few days to completely burn down a forest and leave only ashes. Destruction happens by the disintegration of the previously created structures into their elements, much like a soul dissipates when there is the force that binds each element is either depleted or the bindings are removed.

Knowing this, one can understand that order and structure = life/creation, while chaos = death/destruction. Which force oversees structures and order in the universe? This is Saturn, which most people hate because it brings responsibility and self-control into your life, which those people do not seem to want. This is also the element of earth, which is the prime mediator for the manifestation of Saturn.

We can see how Saturn is the shaper of civilisations. In each civilisation, Saturn builds structures in the same way as a body. It rules the government, which enforces the rules that allow that particular civilisation to exist. It also rules the parliament (or whatever regional variation you have), which creates those particular rules. The organs of the State are both the skeleton, the joints, and the brain of this body called State.

If you remove those rules or you damage them, a civilisation gradually starts to collapse until it is ultimately lost (when all bindings are undone). Rules of course can also be improved, just like you can improve every part of the body or the soul, but this another topic altogether. The only problem arises when you destroy all this patterns and structures.

The patterns and structures in life are also what allows people to grow in a specific direction, rather than having your energies move in every direction in an uncontrolled, disorganised manner which cause them to spread thin and dissipate, accomplishing nothing. You know what the say of chasing two hares at the same time.

The slaying of Saturn by the hand of Jupiter has nothing to do with removing all the rules and living a chaotic (non)life, but rather the destruction of those processes and structures that weaken us, replacing them with better versions. It also deals with overcoming obstacles. Ageing becomes immortality, etc.

Saturn only equals slavery when it's misused and misunderstood, such as by the enemy (misuse), by immature people (both), by negative peer pressure (misuse), etc. This planet co-rules Aquarius exactly because of the reasons I stated above: you need structure in order to grow and advance. Structure gives you the freedom to do that. Chaos on the other hand will first stall you, then regress you as it gradually dissipates you back into nothing.

We can see this in lazy people. They slowly lose their physical faculties and their mental faculties. They stop caring about themselves and the consequences of their actions, leading nowhere in life until they die with a million more hang-ups and negative karma than when they started their life.

Awesome post Stormblood. Very thorough, concise and covers alot that is important to put into perspective.

Great article, brother. Examples are well made, and it expanded my knowledge on the subject. I completely agree. We are not some Reptilian sh*t. Balance is necessary. Though, I suppose you were implying some members' notions on revenge. Anyway, it is well written, thanks!

Yeah, a little bit about balance is missing. You're right.

Nice post.

i'd like to say this is why my screen name is Chaos... but nah that'd be a lie, it was for the edge. smh

But hey. You can't have Order without Chaos.
