These are piles of boxes with urns for the ashes of the cremated bodies. And according to Caixin, 5,000 ballot boxes were delivered this week in one day to the Hankou mortuary agency , one of eight that operates in Wuahn. And according to the magazine, the eight agencies would begin to deliver 3,500 ballot boxes a day to the relatives of the victims from 23 March , setting the goal of concluding Qingming, the day on which the dead are celebrated in China by 3 April.

If 3,500 ballot boxes are calculated for twelve days, 42 thousand victims are reached . And yet, another indiscretion is relaunched: in the darkest days of the coronavirus crisis, cremation officers from other countries would have been sent to Wuahn, in order to keep the plants open all day and every day. Not to mention the fact that in Wuhan in the fourth quarter of 2019, before therefore the epidemic, 56,007 bodies were cremated.
