I can accept that. What I would never accept is the idea of this person tampering with official materials like the calendar. I don't want Lydia to trust this person with anything like that.

Nobody has "official materials of the calendar" other than ThomaSsS. All the translators get, is the text (what you can read on the calendar), and they translate it. Any translators who seem dubious (those who do not already have an established track record for translating the JoS) will have their translations run through google translate to make sure nothing wacky is in there.

These calendars do help new members and promoting the JoS and the Gods, so we will give people the chance to translate if they volunteer
