What are the dangers of birth control?

Postby StyleCoin » Mon Dec 23, 2019 4:24 pm

What are the risks that women have from using non-pregnant drugs, and what are the risks in 14-17 year olds?

Is condom the only safe way?

There are many risks and studies indicating that it might give you mood swings ,depression among other even less desirable physiological changes .

Wear a condom. Or better yet ,go bare (only if you know what you're doing and you know the other person very well including if he has any STDs or not.)

The biologist I had in the 9th grade had said that taking non-pregrant pills usually can make a woman not able to get pregnant anymore(or do it much harder for her).

In regards to what you say about the STDs keep in mind that some of them are very hard detected with common blood tests. Also in some rare cases the virus HPV is present in men and women reproductive systems without causing to them trouble but can cause problem to other person that it is going to transmit to ,this has to do with human Virome (just like we have bacteria that don't harm us everywhere in our body we have viruses too).So to add to what you said it is better ,people that are going to have sex without the necessary protection being in an age that have done all their vaccines.(This might be different from country to country so I don't know,in Greece for example the age for the Hpv vaccine is 15 which is also suggest from the global health organisation.)
So StyleCoin there high risks in the ages 14-17 too.

Long term use can lead to lack of fertility and it can take quite some time to get your period back after taking it for so long and other irregularities.

Back in the day the Diana pill was known to cause birth defects in children. They were born without arms and legs but they had hands and feet.

Dangerous to the fetus? Most likely.
In a lesser way than back then though.

I understand that "the white race" needs more offspring (Im saying just because this might be brought up anyway) but you shouldnt RUIN someones life over it.
Plus kids need both their parents and a safe place to grow up. Just saying.

Maybe I misunderstood and you meant to include that as well in between the brackets but it wasnt clear to me.

I was put on the pill when I was 16, as my menstrual cycle was messed up. I should've been told about Vitex (a herb that regulates it) but was not. The pill really messed me up and I had to go to the hospital because of it. I tried it again some years later and had the same effect.

For preventing pregnancy, if a woman knows her cycle and knows when she is ovulating, it can be easy to manage, speaking from personal experience as well (for example making sure the man pulls out while during ovulation and the week before, even if using a condom as they are not completely guaranteed). Doing astrology is too spiritually draining and pays too little money for me to risk getting pregnant. I can manage for myself just fine, but certainly not while pregnant and/or with a baby.

No, after ovulation is done. Essentially, there is about a 36-hour window that ovulation happens, and after, there is no chance of pregnancy as the egg is no longer able to be fertilized and leaves the system.

The week leading up to ovulation, the body biologically tries to get pregnant (cervical fluid becomes hospitable to sperm, etc), and sperm lives for 5-7 days (sometimes up to 10 days). During ovulation, the conditions are ideal to get pregnant, cervical fluid etc, so do not ejaculate in a woman while she is ovulating or during the week leading up to it. It is usually easy to tell if a woman is ovulating (changes in cervical fluid), but as a guideline it's about 14 days after the previous menstruation began.

I would agree with what Lydia said and go the natural route. The body should not be polluted with chemicals especially at such a young age. Your body has a pure way of doing things and when you take things to change it you can never know what long term effects it will have.
Most women's menstrual cycle is 28 days. Sometimes it's longer/shorter though. Take about 3 months and track your body's natural cycle. Mark the day you start your period to the day you start your next. That is the length. There are many apps that will help. Once you get familiar with it you can know when you're likely to get pregnant.
To get technical, your ovaries release an egg about a week after your period starts. You are most likely to get pregnant for about a week after it's released. The trick is to learn when your egg is released. This happens about a week after you start your period.
For example, lets say your cycle is 28 days. Day 1 = first day of your period, about one week later, Day 7 = your egg is released and your uterus begins creating fluids that support sperm life and prepares your womb. This is the time you are likely to get pregnant, this time last for about a week. It's called the fertility window. Don't have sex during this time unless you're trying to conceive. After the the one week fertility window passes comes week 3, Day 14 = this is when you are most unlikely to get pregnant. Your egg is most likely not fertile and your body starts releasing the fluids that were prepared for the womb, which is when the cycle starts again. You have your period to expel those fluids that were prepared for the womb. The female body is quite amazing and when you get in touch with your natural cycle you will feel more energetic and whole. You can also learn to track the moons cycle with yours. Depending on if you're ovulating with the waxing or waning moon is very powerful information for working your magic. Hope this is helpful. And Satanic blessings to you sister.

Brightmorningstar where did you learn biology? youre not ovulating straight after you quit bleeding (day 4-7 for most people, when you stop bleeding, in some cases this is day 10)

If you look for pregnancy tests or something like Clear Blue or an ovulation tracker (there are ones that measure your hormones or something) or even applications that help remind you your period/menstruation is coming (apps for smartphone)
Those also often explain the stuff regarding the cycle in general.

Look I had an entire chapter or two on the female bosy regarding menstruation in biology class between the age of 12 to 14 but every girl should at least know the basics when she starts menstruating either through a parent, or an aunt or a book. Unless the situation doesnt allow i.e. being send from foster home to foster home.
Even though we have the internet now and this kind of knowledge is just one search away.

Also I want to add something that is not found on the internet. Ask how regular your mom was or is regarding when she has her cycle.
Some do not have a typical 28 day period.
I dont in anyway and I asked my mom and she didnt have that either. Never had.
Youre biologically related so itd only make sense that you might have the same physical problems or advantages.
