I think so, yeah.

You can but you probably want to vibrate whatever word you are using into that chakra. My personal experience with this is that Visuddhi works well with this and working on one or two chakras at a time. Along with an Affirmation dealing with the problem you are having in that chakra.

Munka uruz or ansuz the usual things used in the freeing the soul meditation could work for this i can see but I have not tried it into chakras to remove blocks.

If you wanted too since the workings would tie into eachother and thus probably not cause anything to be diluted but maybe even add extra power to eachother you could do both.

For blockages I can tell from experience that the Thaur (3#rune) is very powerful especially if combined with Ansuz.
