Is it true that in ancient Rome 2000 years ago there were ships that operated with steam or are they just my imaginations?

The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans had steam powered devices like moving and musical statues in the temples, doors that opened them self. But I have heard of no steam engines that could power a ship.
