Is it true that in ancient Rome 2000 years ago there were ships that operated with steam or are they just my imaginations?

HP HC has spoken about this too, it’s not your immagination.

The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans had steam powered devices like moving and musical statues in the temples, doors that opened them self. But I have heard of no steam engines that could power a ship. Farther back during the "Golden Age" the time of Atlantis, Mu, Sanat Kumara there was advanced tech like the Vimana flying machines with electromagnetic antigravity. Perhaps they had all kinds of engines including steam

Actually I am also interested in steam engines. With modern tech they could be used more and have some advantages over internal combustion
