I heard many members talking about this and I would like to know if anyone knows a good sample of exercises to do ?

Mimi Duo Kimer has two really basic rutines on youtube you can try (eight brocades and five elements, of which eight brocades is easier).

^ I've been doing these 2 routines for years, they are really good. Also Lee Holden had a morning and evening routine, there's 10 and 20 minutes long videos for both, easily found on youtube :)

Mimi Duo Kimer also has longer newer versions of the rutines on vimeo in case you would like to upgrade in the future. I haven't bought them yet though so I don't know how much updated they are.

Also, Falun Dafa is good, although there aren't any good quality videos of it. Some SS have better results with it than Qigong.
 
Personally I believe it's not that great. Getting to extreme heights of spiritual powers require a very strong body. I doubt qiqong can give you such raw strength. I think qiqong as with other spiritual practices are watered down version of the real thing.
Doing 50 reps of one-arm pull-ups smashes qiqong to pieces. Don't waste your time, hit the gym and stay flexible with yoga.

Lol I didn’t know that bicep curls and bench presses activate the meridians in the body.

I agree about what you said about FD videos!Since I read a Stoormblood's post saying that "just like Mer Ka Ba ,FD will constantly empower after sometime you do it..." I wanted to try it but I couldn't fight a good enough video to see how it is done :( !At least Qiqong works quite well for now! :) !

The point of yoga and qigong (wich has been said that is "less" powerful that yoga) is to make you more flexible so that your energy can flow more and it helps you to open your chakras. Having a strong body is not a must but obviously is good. Too much gym is bad becuse it can makes you less flexible, there was a topic in the old forum that talked about this, if i'm not wrong it was posted by CentralForce666. Having a lot of muscle is not a requisite to raise the kundalini, just don't do bodybuilding or Wright lifting. Do things like catalistenich and strech a lot to keep yourself flexible and you'll be fine.

One can get the feelings they experience after a qiqong session by jogging and doing a breathing exercise the same time. I'm not saying qiqong is totally useless, it's a waste of time.

Think about staying outside under a full sun from sunrise to sunset. To handle this energy you need build your body in the way of having functional strength/power.

Strength training/weightlifting is different from body building. Body builders experience more injuries. Progressive calisthenics that build power and strength is good. You can check out convict conditioning.

Qiqong doesn't engage the body on a very demanding level to permanently adjust the bone, muscle mass. Having real power is not just about how much weight one can bench press. One can bench press heavy but cannot do much push-ups, pull-ups or do other body weight exercises. It's functional strength that counts here.

Bodybuilders are lifting weights not to develop functional
strength but to increase the size of their muscles. They will
develop strength along the way, but it's only a side effect of
the training rather than the focus..

People have built functional strength with strength training and toned their muscles with progressive calisthenics.

Can specific qigong movements empower elements someone is lacking? In addition to the routine the lady has on that video I was thinking of also doing one or two specific movements throughout the day to empower specific elements. Is this a thing?

Never mind this. I got my answer. I might have a new question but I'm going to look into it before I ask since I was able to find the answer to my first question by looking around.

Never mind this. I got my answer. I might have a new question but I'm going to look into it before I ask since I was able to find the answer to my first question by looking around.

With elemental imbalances, it is best to use the akasha. This prevents backslashes and fosters a more harmonious attunement.

Actually here is a very good vid and source on falun dafa i got from the forums awhile back and book marked. i still follow it from time to time and want to be more consistant with it to be honest. it is supplementary to but should not replace hatha yoga imo.

I've been meaning to say this for a while but I too highly recommend the 8 brocades along with the others mentioned by Lydia. With the 8 brocades, even the first time it was intense. The 8th brocade almost made me pass out lol but at the same time I had a rush of both vril along with the oxygen to the brain so it was a very strange but interesting feeling for several seconds. Had to slow it down a bit but I'm handling the energy well now.

I just got back into qigong, haven't done it in quite a while, did the 5 elements yesterday and felt so amazing after. I will do the 8 brocades today as it's probably been over a year since I've last done that one :)

5 elements have been balancing me out very well. Has helped calm decades of excessive frustration and anger for me.

Good to hear you're back into. I myself definitely needed this. I hope your session goes well Sis.
