Good evening brothers and sisters,
I know this question may seem a little strange, but I wanted to ask for advice about a problem I'm having.
I have a healthy lifestyle, except for smoking.
I developed this addiction due to various circumstances in my life, and although I have tried several times to quit, I find it very difficult.
I have achieved several goals and overcome many obstacles in my life, but I find this addiction difficult to combat.
I know that this must come mainly from me and my willpower, but I wanted to know if anyone here has succeeded in this goal and if there is any spiritual advice that could help me in this.

Thank you very much.

You should not have cigarettes in your desk/at home/jacket at all. And you can start a spell to end your addiction. There are special days in calendar, you can check for a date and start.

Depends on how much you are addicted.

My experience was, that I smoked around 6-10 cigs.

And just stopped suddenly, then I wanted to smoke, but I kept not doing it.

After a week I was lighter, and after 2 weeks basically it was gone.

If you smoke like 20-30-40 per day, then you need to aim to reduce and doing steps to quit.

Make a list of all the benefits you get from smoking, and then another list of all the benefits you get from not smoking. Then compare the two.
This is one method from SMART Recovery, which I suggest you look up. Talking to ChatGPT about this is also good.

I do use swedish snus myself (which containts nicotine) but that is much much healthier than smoking. The big cigarrette companies have tried to lobby against snus everywhere, since they would lose money if people were doing that instead of smoking. Smoking means inhaling burned materials into the lungs, which is the most nasty and unhealthy aspect here.

Place some kind of reminder that'll catch your daily attention to not smoke, and you can also work on your Base and Solar chakras more.

A stronger willpower will always lead to a more serious level of resolve necessary to overcome addictions.

I highly recommend self-hypnosis for healing addictions and compulsions! This requires trance training, but will benefit you overall.

Hematite stone has also been recommended for quitting smoking, better willpower and healing addictions.

I can recommend Varenicline/Champix. This medication blocks the brain receptors responsible for the "pleasure" of smoking. There's no need for cold turkey or any similar practices, gradually after circa a week the desire to smoke will fade. And somewhere around that time when you go out for a smoke you'll wonder: why the hell am I doing this?! The taste of cigarettes will return to what it was when you first started smoking. This thing clearly demonstrates the futility and obsession of this ritual. After this you'll have to pick a date, smoke your last cigarette and never return to that crap anymore! That's it! Don't worry, there's a proper manual coming with this drug :)
And it would be good to start doing pranayama if you already don't.
Also there's a few sermons of our HP on that topic:
How To Control Addictions, Passions, Animal Drives
Actual Self Love: Drugs & Addictions - Fixing One's Self
you can find more via search.
I wish you success fighting your addiction and hope you will win! :)
