I am writing this because I feel that most people are approaching magic the wrong way. One of the most important rules to remember about magic is that it can only ever manifest through you, as you are the one performing it, regardless of the end goal.

This means that mental hangups, energetic blocks, and the overall cleanliness and power of your soul all affect the end result.

You can imagine your soul shining like a brilliant star in space, except for most people, that star is buried under a mountain of dirt; what little light does manage to shine through is greatly diminished, distorted, and most likely even a different color than what it began as. Now imagine that this is the energy you send out to attract your desires. Are you going to get exactly what you asked for?

Everything in the above metaphor can be solved with power meditation and cleaning procedures, except for one thing that is completely overlooked by 98% of all meditators: reprogramming the mind, i.e., changing the nature of the star itself.

For example, even if you have the most powerful wealth mantra from the Hall of Osiris, you couldn’t use it at even 10% of its full power if you haven’t removed negative and self-limiting beliefs from your mind about money.

That’s because the moment you start to earn more money than you’ve ever made before, you’ll start to self-sabotage with feelings of anxiety and fear of failure instead of excitement for your impending success, you’ll get lazy or “feel tired all the time,” you’ll do anything and everything to subconsciously get back to your comfort zone level of income because that is consistent with your identity, even if you consciously want to change that.

Even if you try to think positive, you won’t be able to. That is true self-sabotage. That’s not something you can consciously think your way out of, you have to completely reprogram your mind to think differently. So magic spells don’t help you here. The only real way out is through hypnosis. And this goes for all areas in life that you seek change in. Without reconstructing the mind, you will see very limited results from magic. There is a reason why the hypnosis audio tapes come before everything else in the Tier progression system in the Hall of Osiris.

When I was younger I was very talented at trance and did quite a bit of hypnosis on myself in the trance state and it made massive permanent changes to myself that were entirely necessary, I have not yet tried any of the hypnosis from HoO but based off the Rituals I have gotten from there they are without a doubt life changing.

This is true, there is a triad between Magick, priming the mind through trance-hypnosis and physical action. Many people I noticed are just unaware of this, probably because the Hypnosis and About the Mind part on the site was difficult to access for so long, and partially since trance itself is difficult to access with distractions (i.e. parents, siblings, spouses, loud neighbors, music) ruining it.

If it is too difficult for you, please use headphones and the 15 or 30 Minute Meditation by HPS Maxine that uses white noise. If you live in a dangerous country where even being in a trance is suspect, find somewhere to go into trance that is safe.

Excellent post SG
I have been constantly brought back to your articles about re framing the mind.

I often would rush to over empower without proper cleansing and also without properly directing the mind.
I even found myself drifting and thinking negatively / being distracted while trying to do certain workings.
It has never been more apparent to me that without changing my thought process and mental patterns , I will be doomed to make the same mistakes in cycles.
sometimes a mental blockage becomes apparent when you try to do a certain working or through meditation alone, I find at the very least trying to work out those issues mentally and following it up with positive affirmation can greatly help.
However nothing can compare to hypnosis .
I feel blessed that we have access to such powerful and direct hypnosis through H.O.O
That far exceed anything we could find or build otherwise .

I have seen a tremendous change in my magick abilities after I complete the Opening the Mind hypnosis. There are still layers to take care of but I will climb the ladder and get out of the cave.

Self hypnosis has been extremely fruitful for me and shifting my focus towards what I know I truly want. We need to be careful with the messaging we give ourselves and associations we have of certain things.

Sometimes the subconscious realm, having dedicated time to cultivate it, is really what may be holding us back from living a successful life.
