Hi, sorry in advance if the article looks long.

As you know we have talk up to now of training for chakras with the gods name of necronomicon, sanskrit bija, some consonants (s/m) but never have i seen a deep search on the vowels.

I m sure that you have remarked that human tendency is to put things in order according to our beliefs. For example agni puruna put series of 5 consonants with 5 elements in order of creation by purunas (akasha-air-fire-water-earth). Why is it that akasha is throat chakra, air heart, fire solar plexus, water 2nd chakra and earth 1st ? Same idea. How come each sanskrit characters in their order are assigned one of chakras petals starting from throat to end at ajna ? How come do we place in occident parts of our body , in the zodiacal sign order starting with aries at head ? Is it because that force correspond to that place or that the goal is to put that force in that sections or organ as nyasa ? No idea.

But recently with vowels they are always 5 main ones in many variants of language (french, english, spanish …) the same order A E I O U is repeated. Coincidence ? Could it be one letter for one element ? Occidental use the order of creation akasha/fire/water/air/earth . Hindu use the creation order of akasha-air-fire-water- earth based probably on the order of solidity . My belief is since we find so mutch relations to sanskrit, it is probably that order.

Of course occident has his version corrupted EG samael aun weor : a is lung chakra, e troath, i 3rd eye o heart u sun, m for 2nd and finally S for the 1st.
He has chosen m and S as vowel probably because the sound can be made without choosing a vowel to hear it. the M is water for us and goes for 3rd eye or crown and S et indeed is 1st chakra in our site ( s = snake = kundalini). If we follow that trail, the other 5 will go to the other chakras.

We may play with I A O ignis agua origo in latin, o therefore is origin akasha, I again fire (down further we talk about it) but A water ? Of course since iao links with greeks, it could be alpha omega iota said further down ( sun - I, moon- A, saturn - O).

Now, remember that Old lenguages before latinisation had more vowels. Old english has 14 vowels (7 short and long = 7 chakras ?), greek also, sanskrit have 16 but 2 (am and ah) are used for material goals (M) and spiritual result (H). In one word adding m or h at the end depends of your goal like namah and swaha on our site. I haven’t search other language yet. But the main difference from now and the past is that they didn’t differenciate all sounds (combination of main vowel for sound as now called diphtong as I understand) .

Europeans knowing that egyptians and greeks used vowels and their combination for powers, have tried based on greek text to trace which vowels goes where following the theory of planets, that also goes for 7 music notes (sol = sun chakra). Of course there is now so many variants. And probably corrupted. Cornelieus agrippa based his version on jews .
As th common one based on greek text, they decided it on planet velocity :

Saturn :
Ω (omega, long o) = 7th heaven.
Ōmega is a long vowel. Its phoneme is always pronounced long. Phoneme is as o in “note”

Jupiter :
Y (upsilon, u) = 6th heaven;
Its phoneme may be pronounced long or short. If long, the phoneme is as the u in “lute”; if short u as in “put”. The phoneme is never pronounced as the English long “u” (i.e., “use”).

Mars
O (omicron, short o) = 5th heaven;
Omīkron is a short vowel. It is always pronounced short. Its phoneme is as the o in “pot”. The corresponding long phoneme is ōmega

Sun
I (iota, i) = 4th heaven
Its phoneme may be pronounced long or short. If long, the phoneme is as i in “machine”; if short, as i in “hit”. Iōta is never pronounced like the English long “i” (i.e., “kite”).

Venus
H (eta, long e) = 3rd heaven;
It is always pronounced long. Its phoneme is as a in “gate” or e in “obey”. Its corresponding short phoneme is epsīlon.

mercury
E (epsilon, short e) = 2nd heaven;
short vowel. It is always pronounced short. Its phoneme is as the e in “net”. The vowel is always short and is never pronounced like the English long e as in “equal”.

Moon
A (alpha, a) = 1st heaven;
Its phoneme may be long or short. If long, the phoneme is as a in “father”; if short, as a in “dad”. The vowel is never pronounced like the long a in English (i.e., “age”).

Do YOU SEE THE PATTERN ? Starting from 3rd eye/ moon A , é (as may) for throat , è (as get) heart, i ( as see) o (as how) o (as got) and at crown u (like ooze). For french guys é and è are long and short sound of e , long o or short o is more english version. But overall we got again the order A E I O U.
And to place u at crown is indee ironic . Devils for catholics allways have horns and when you join horns and front you got an U. Crown of hathor is a U containing a disk. Shogun helmet is with a type of U. Old crown of kings is a disc and a series of horns/spikes on in (M + W, n + V). Seems to me that only after judaism got to power was crown with crosses. Also, some old mangas and chinese comics shows people with powers with a dot over each brows where they would be front horns. Coincidences ?

Fo a while my search where also saying 7 vowels are 5 vowels + m and V for greek letters but I cannot trace the site anymore. With such a version we were having 5 elements to place and mV. Since in latin V is also W you can see with m on top and w ins first chakra the image of thaurus field/ apple/ magnetic field. But that ideas imply that U is not crown and should be earth (as agni puruna). I playd with it but only thing by experience work Is m and W 7th and 1st. Of course v in sancrit is 2nd chakra. But if M can be 7 or 6th, why not for W 1 and 2 ?

Shivaite (dance of shiva) Have an order of éléments as namashivaya following the oder of regression (eath then water…..) and they applied it to vowels O I U A E (cannot trace the site). Probably garbage.

Agni puruna say :

  • ... Pṛthvī / u/ū
    ... bhoga Mokṣa = aṁ / aḥ (7th chakra is result on all others?)
    ... Rṣi / ṛ ṝ ḷ ḹ is not precise but may well be tied 6th one (rsi are wise ones, 3rd eye has conections with wisdom)
    … Jala / e/ai
    … Agni / i/ī
    … Ākāśa / o/au
    … Vāyu / a/ā

The coincidence here is that i = fire and greek say i = sun , same chakra. Of course i is like a ray. O/au is akasha. Since corruption possible with samael aun weor 0 may well be in factthe real heart, the throat chakra and not heart chakra as new age keep saying which may imply a is air (vayu) . As he point of indirectly( lungs chakra). And t for us A is heart chakra . Latin O, or circle may imply unity, a hole to get in and out, arab number 0 is the first number. And akasha contains all elements from where all comes from.

The mails up to now in the forum say akasha = heart chakra confuse me a bit. We have switch mercury in throat and venus in heart, but haven’t switch akasha and air. Logic seems to help that decision. Moving principle is from air element (heart is reason motion blood therefore heat , sending air and food to cells …) and not the potential principle of akasha.

And the reason to put I at 3rd eye in occident version may well be the principle of the couple. Take for example bija indra (jupiter) is LAM (1st chakra) and MAM that we use for crown is in fact the bija of yama (saturn). Why put saturn in crown and jupiter in first ? Either its is corruption of assigning bija since centuries or we wanna put the forces of 1st chakra in the 7th and of the 7th in the 1st. Lightning to awaken kundalini and unknow force to affect the crown.

Finally, in conclusion It seems all depends of the goals and what you believe in. Do do you want to use a particular element with a vowel or the virtues of a planet' On which spot ?

Anyway I hope theses trails of cumulated searches can help someone to figure it out and that our specialists pronounce themselves on the subjects. (elements and vowels). And if anyone has done similar searches, or have try different vibrations, hope he share his ides and results.
