Questions on Sacral Chakra workings

I have some questions on the experiences I've been having since empowering and cleaning my Sacral chakra.

1. Is it normal to relive awful memories when cleaning and empowering your chakras? And, is it normal to have increased negative thoughts too?

2. Can the condition of your chakras affect the people around you? I don't know if it's just me, but since working on my Sacral I have noticed more distance between interpersonal relationships. It's making me feel a little isolated.

3. What is the difference between the emotional nature of the sacral chakra and the throat chakra? Why is the throat the seat of emotions and not the sacral?

This is normal and part of the healing/advancement process, especially in the case of intimacy issues. In the scope of your working, none of this is permanent damage and shouldn't make you panic or anything, even if painful.

The sacral and throat are chakra pairs, and both deal with connections to others, in a way. The sacral is more related to Mars and expressions of power and fire rather than the Mercurial transmissions of the throat. In that sense, the sacral would not be as directly related to emotions, but more indirectly.

Relating to Gemini, for example, the characteristics of the throat would be less sexual, but more "friendly", creating pairs of things, rather than "impregnation" of things.

However, based on the soul, there can be aspects or placements which appear to mix the traditional definitions. For example, perhaps Mars in Gemini or Mars/Mercury placements would link these two areas. There are likely many more examples or possibilities here.

Thanks for assuring me that it is normal.

As for the last two questions, I understand what you mean. However, due to a lack of experience with it, I don't really understand the rulership and function of the sacral. Like, I know it rules creativity and sexuality but I know it's more than that.

I've read that it is associated with boundaries, dance, and sacrality, but in what way you know?

Maybe it is just me but I would say that sacral chakra has the least amount of explanation from the JOS out of all the chakras. Am I wrong?

  1. Yes, it is a common occurrence. The frequency of such experiences varies individually, with some encountering it more frequently than others. However, over time, these occurrences tend to diminish. Each chakra governs specific facets of life, where their corresponding energetic imprints will be stored. Negative thoughts and emotions may surface sporadically, either of irrational or rational nature. These are essentially undesirable residues being purged from your soul, and brought to your awareness for resolution. Not every negative cleansing episode requires attention as some can be overlooked. It is a part of the healing process.

  2. Absolutely, as your chakras undergo cleansing and empowerment, you'll exude a magnetic and charismatic energy. This positive aura becomes subtly perceptible to others (subconsciously), contributing to a more harmonious vibe. If you sense isolation, it could be attributed to the manifestation of certain seeds within the chakras. Rest assured, this phase is a transient one, and presents an opportune time to continue with your great journey.

  3. While the throat chakra is considered the emotional seat, each chakra contributes to its unique emotional aspect to our overall life and nature. The chakras exhibit intricate interconnections; the Moon governs our emotions, Venus presides over the throat, influencing our interactions with others. Mars, in turn, holds a sway over our sexual connections. As an example, I had suppressed feelings of anger and resentment within my heart chakra, along with a trauma from a past life within my base chakra. The release of these negative seeds prompted an emotional response as they were purged from my soul.

Thanks for your reply DP. I suppose I am just needing reassurance, and you did just that.

I kind of knew the answer to my first question, but this is the first time it's been so noticeable, and i was worried it was not normal.
