Good morning everyone:
I'm a neophyte) Luciferian. TL;DR, at the beginning of last year Lucifer showed up in my life in a very surreal way (my best friend revealed he was a Theistic Satanist and I should consider becoming a god; and then Lucifer popped up in my life [his name started popping up everywhere, I was having a discussion with a person online who revealed he was a Luciferian and I should consider him, etc.] - I have been working with him since, and he's provided a lot of healing to me.
More recently, he seems to want me to ground myself in a Satanic or Luciferian system, and work from there. This involves some kind of initiation where I will be tested by various demons who will break down my ego, and I will be reborn and should take on a new name that shows my dedication to Lord Lucifer (something like a Luciferian Baptism?).
I've been given pointers - one I could do is Qliphoth, finding some kind of formal Qliphoth intiation ritual ala Karlsson's work or something similar. Another thing that's popped up is something having to do with opening Satan's "9 Gates of Hell"?
However, I don't feel comfortable doing this kind of initiation until I get a sense of what it entails and what the "system" is - I feel like while Karlsson's work is nice, it really doesn't do justice for what the system actually is. And I don't have any real rituals for the latter.
Does anybody have any pointers or gone through something similar?
