Magnum Opus

Hello everyone,

I've been looking for next milestones on my progression lately. So I've been beginning to look into and preparing for the Magnum Opus.

The JOS page on it mention's 3 steps currently, and for the last handful of years the page has remained 'under construction'. Unless I'm missing something, where does the rest of the information to complete it come from? Does anyone know what the holdup is on the completion of that JOS page? I have heard talk about the final stages are something that you do personally with the gods, has anyone had experience with working with them on it, or on the later steps in general?

You're probably right about the rest but I wouldn't say that being aware of the phenomenon is useless. It is a powerful motivator and as we get closer to understanding what it means and what it takes to get there, it becomes even more so.

Good advice in the last part.

Assessing ones potential is difficult and accurately predicting how far one is and if they will be able to complete the MO in this lifetime without insight into their previous lives is tricky.

Maybe try to sound less demotivating next time. New people need a healthy dose of reality but also encouragement.

Do you hope to reach a level where you can work on preparation for the Great Work?

You should be a bit more optimistic here, the odds are more in our favor as Spiritual Satanists then you realise.

We have the means to walk towards the magnum opus, and if we are persistent and dedicated in our practice, to begin and get to a decent point with it.

While true that some may not see this to completion, you'd be surprised.

Yes we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, but all of us who are deeply dedicated and consistent in our practice in our lives have a good chance with this.

Ultimately the gods can be consulted and will sometimes share an answer depending on where one is at in their advancement in relation to the magnum opus.

Work deeply on cleaning your soul, your chakras and aura. Keep persistent in your practice for years to come, and focus on knocking down obstacles in your life whether they be material, physical, mental, or emotional.

In time the path will become more clear in relation to where you are in the process of approaching the magnum opus.

Trust in the gods, and with a healthy does of reality and deeper understanding of the self, and you will know in time where you are and how you can get to where you ultimately desire.
