The Israeli Prime Minister has ordered the destruction of a Hezbollah weapons depot in Beirut with a new weapon which, not yet well tested, has caused considerable damage, killed more than a hundred people, injured 5,000 and destroyed many buildings. This time Benjamin Netanyahu will hardly deny it.
On September 27, 2018, at the United Nations tribune, Benjamin Netanyahu shows the warehouse that will explode on August 4, 2020, indicating it as Hezbollah's weapons depot.
The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has authorized an offensive against a Hezbollah weapons depot with a new weapon, tested seven months ago in Syria. It is not known whether the operation took place with the consent of the second prime minister, Benny Gantz.
The offensive of August 4, 2020 hit exactly the place indicated by Benjamin Netanyahu in his speech to the United Nations on September 27, 2018.
We don't know what kind of weapon was used. But it was tested in Syria last January. It is a missile whose warhead contains a tactical nuclear component, which causes the fungus characteristic of nuclear weapons. It is clearly not an atomic bomb in a strategic sense.
Israeli test in Syria
This weapon was tested in Syria, in the plain and open country, then in the waters of the Persian Gulf, against Iranian military vessels. On 4 August it was used for the first time in an urban area, in a particular environment that affected the water and the high ground by air displacement and vibrations. Not only did it destroy the port of Beirut, it also killed about a hundred people, injured at least another 5,000 and destroyed the eastern part of the city (the western part was largely protected by the tall building containing grain silos).
Comparing these two satellite photos, on the one on the left we see the destruction of the Hezbollah warehouse and part of the port.
Israel immediately activated international media infiltration to hide its crime and credit the hypothesis of the accidental explosion of a fertilizer stock. As often happens, bogus culprits are found and the international media machine repeats the lie to nausea, albeit without investigation. Yet everyone could see the mushroom-shaped smoke, which is incompatible with the thesis of the fertilizer explosion.
The mushroom-shaped smoke observed in Beirut has nothing to do with what a conventional explosive would have caused.
Just as neither Syria nor Iran reacted after being hit by this new weapon, the Lebanese political parties immediately concluded an agreement to keep the truth hidden so as not to demoralise the population. An inquiry was opened to investigate not the cause of the explosion, but the responsibility of port personnel in the storage of the fertilisers, passed off as the cause of the explosion. However, this lie soon backfired against the political parties that concocted it.
The United Nations Tribunal for Lebanon has decided to postpone for a few days the verdict on the 2005 assassination of Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, which should have been issued shortly. In the Hariri assassination affair, the explosion of a van masked the firing of a missile loaded with a new weapon, just as the nitrate explosion masked the firing on Hezbollah's weapons depot.
Five years later - five years too late! - I revealed in a Russian magazine how Rafic Hariri was killed; Hezbollah instead released a video showing Israel's involvement.
It is important to note that the 2005 assassination hit a Sunni Prime Minister, while the 2020 attack did not hit the Shiite Hezbollah, but the Lebanese Resistance as a whole.
Today, several embassies have carried out surveys, in particular taking samples of cereals and air filters from ambulances that immediately went to the site, material that is already being analysed in the respective countries.
