Ethnic Origins, Race, and Past Lives

I have a question about how we are connected to the past, and how race and reincarnation works.

For example, I'm genetically 100% West European, but I feel a connection with Russian literature and music, and have an interest in ancient Slavia. I also enjoy East European and Russian people and the language. I once tried a past life regression and the scene I saw I felt to be a part of Poland, though I am a novice and doubt myself. I also feel similarly about ancient Mesopotamia and enjoy foreign cultures in general, but those cultures I enjoy most tend to be from East Europe.

My question is do people reincarnate into bodies and families that have different cultural and genetic origins than their soul(within the same race, obiously), or are they always strictly related, down to ethnicity & genetics, as in a soul originating from Finnish parents cannot be born into French parents unless they also have Finnish roots ?

As long as its the same race it can reincarnate anywhere, you might be from a more eastern country but you have reincarnated more western this time, this is completely possible. And as I think it also more possible that your soul was already advanced to a point where it was able to travel this distance which probably more advanced than a common soul.

It would certainly be possible to be incarnated in Poland, but from what I've seen, the further east you go, as a Western European, it becomes increasingly unlikely. The DNA is just too distinct. Obviously there are subsets and subraces of Russians who are 'similar to' Western Europeans DNA wise, which makes it a possibility, but they are not the majority.

Finland has a very, very distinct character so the likelihood is more that a French person would incarnate to be a Fenno-Swede than a pure Finn, or vice versa. There are sub-categories of the White race that evolved rather differently.

As far as ancient societies like those of the ME and North Africa are concerned with past lives this is a lot more complicated and deals with migration, race-mixing since then, and other factors. The DNA markers of mummies are a big clue here.

Enjoying a culture can also deal with past life ties to romance, interests in this era, and things like this, not necessarily oneself. I like Japan but I am not close to being Japanese.
