Whispering affirmations

I've been reading affirmations of workings in a whispered tone.

Will this negatively impact or ruin a square?

And if I accidentally read out loud, and then switch to a whisper, does this mess with the energies?

I don't think it will affect your affirmations, but you need to enunciate the words properly, even if it's in a lower tone of voice. If you start mumbling and skipping syllables, this will mess with the energies. I also suggest you keep the same tone for the entire ritual.

That is part of the directing energy phase and it does not matter whether it is out loud or not as this phase mostly consists of intention.

the important thing is that you use the same affirmation. it doesn't matter if it's loud or low. you should focus fully while youre reading it

Yesterday, I read one section questionably fast: "in the best possible way for me" and these words just sorta naturally slide across my tongue anyway.

Not sure if I fucked up or not, since I technically said all the correct syllables, but it sorta sounded like gibberish at the same time because my mind zoned out on the words, and was focused more intently on the "image", "feeling", "intention" of the affirmation itself.

It only happened once though, did I fuck up? Kinda annoying if I did cos I only had like 3/4 days left of a Sun Square.

The affirmation is only a guide for directing your will. What matters more is the the intent which you were impressing upon reality, not just reading the affirmation. Therefore, I think you are fine.

It is only when people forgo the affirmation and intend a different result that this can cause concern about continuation of the working. However, if the intent remains the same, then the working is continued.

Alternatively, someone could perfectly read an affirmation without intention of it occurring, but this wouldn't be considered as a successful application of energy.

Okay, good to know. I was worried cos HPHC said somewhere that "muffling" the affirmation would ruin the square, and I assumed it would in this case too.

I looked back and saw what he said. It is a little unclear what he means by that, but I think you are fine because you said you got all the syllables correct. I assume he means like if you mess up what you are affirming.

He had also talked above that about "muffling" the mantra, which I believe is worse as this would be raising an incorrect type of energy.

As he mentioned, once you affirm the energy, then you are "adding it" to the square, so here is the point at which the energy must be correct or it would mess up the square. If you had therefore done a couple affirmations before mumbling one, then I think this ok because the energy is added, although it might pull into question the numerology of the affirmation itself.

Thank you, that pretty much alleviated my worries.

I think by mumbling/muffling he meant someone getting tongue tied, or maybe getting lazy with the pronounciation and saying it incorrectly.
